to the US -your flag does not have any Christian reference-note the Nordic crosses, and the flags of Britian (except Wales).In fact the US which is a product of a "revolution" should traditionally show three colour bars like France, Italy ,Ireland or Mexico. .The American Confederate flag does have a Christian emblem in the form of an embellished Scottish Cross-I find an irony in that the US who purports to be Christian has no cross to defend.

There are not alot of differences between Americans and Canadians. Plus Americans have thousands of tv shows making fun of Canadians because "We dont got no schoolin" or monopoly money. So when there is something like this most Americans should be able to take a joke, and as for the red necks that commented that it was insane that a Canadian has any physical ability, thats just ignorant. I love when Canadians refer to the War of 1812. When that was a war against England and thier Indian Allies. If we could have beaten those red coats back in 1812 then Canada would have been a free country. But we couldnt and Canada remained under Englands boot like Ireland until when like mid 1900's? Canada has that little brother mentality because we protect them. If Canada was in Asia somewhere then they would have been speaking Russian or Chinese long ago.

Most of your post makes no sense what so ever. Canada became "free" in 1867 although it was not until after ww1 that we became completly autonomous. The War 0f 1812 was a attempt to claim land from the British in along the lines of manifest destiny...it failed, and yes many Canadian colonials fought in that war. It's unlikely that we would be a anglo-speaking nation would wind up being in Asian. If we were I bet we would have a military like Australia's.

@Cbar219 You have no idea what you're talking about. A vast majority of those who fought in the War of 1812 were Canadian born, and part of the Canadian Militia. I'm not even sure what you mean by "under England's boot"? Though, judging by the current state of affairs in the US it may have been in your best interests to remain "under England's boot" as well. After all, your complete and utter lack of knowledge speaks volumes of your educational system, and therefor, your quality of life.
