Shes not a killer..it shows how she lost track of time and how engrossed she was on looking for the dragon. Thats why when she looked at her reflection she saw how time has affected both her and the dragon.. Shes got white hair cant imagine how many years shes been searching... its sad though that both there loyalty caused them pain at the end.

The lyrics in the main theme shed some light on why exactly she journeyed for so long to find scales, I suggest you find them to get a deeper impression, such as the fire-y eyes she does when she makes her choice.

Incredibly depressing though... go through all that not just to have a dragon but for love and then to be screwed over by so much of it (although how could you really hate the adult bringing its baby back so much...)

You don't even have to be on a relevant course.

@0EEVV0 The render time was around an hour a frame if I remember correctly, but it depends mostly on the scene. They had a fairly beefy render farm set up in a closet though, so the film did not take too long.

Sintel takes advantage of that moment, and prepares to attack .... but looks into the dragon's eye ... and sees her baby ... and stops ... the rest is loving denouement .... yep, call me Disney Q. Rockwell, I'm totally for happy endings !!! [ Along with 95% of the population, who know that real life is tough enough, we look to fiction for Hope !!! ]
