The same amount of current is used to Enable the induction loop.

i love how thay say this over 3 times it would only use the power required to your pan lol... Nope but ues its it uses less power than Gas or electric elements.

Is induction really better than other stove tops? i am really interested but has someone done there research on the efficiency of these types of cookers. Ive gone to a few websites including theinductionstorecom and the prices are good i don't see any fault in induction other than you need induction cookware, which is not hard to find.
