ummm photoshop isnt a vector program. illustrator is... so essentially your just making paths then rasterizing them, it gives it a more photorealistic look. try this in a real vector program...

there's a workaround on adding copyrighted audio on youtube. Basically u just have to edit the audio to be 2-3ms faster than the original.

Thanks! I used After Effects to make the final animation. Once I finished the psd I turned each layer on in order from the start and captured it using Snagit and number them 001.jpg, 002.jpg etc importing the jpegs as a sequence.

It really sucks that they have removed the audio due to copyright issues. You'd think that you could make a tribute piece of art to a musician and use less than a minute of their song (it's not even half the song for heaven's sake). WMG are just money hungry maggots.

you probably don't care anymore but maths vectors are how the lines are stored in vector drawings.

Instead of pixels the maths behind each line's width and colour is stored so you can zoom in as much as you want and they will still be sharp

In a nutshell: you can blow up a vector to however big you want it without losing any detail because the shapes are determined with equations (handy if you want to make something the size of a poster...or a billboard).

With a raster ("real pic") image, you can only enlarge it to a certain point before you start getting nasty pixelation and resolution problems.

what's the difference??? I'm pretty sure if you use the pen tool in photoshop it's vector because you can zoom in without loss of quality just like in illustrator.

photoshop cannot do vectors as it is a pixel based program. It can only mimic them. This was an excellent job but I just wish people would stop promoting photoshop when illustrator is far superior and actually creates real vectors.
