  • Always loved those vehicles. Thanks Kyle 👍

  • does any body no how much mpg this has, seriously?

  • this goddamn wheels have got to go NOW!!!

  • Man I wish Ford still made these. They're freakin enormous!

  • @The1500Suburban biggest SUV, bigger than the suburban and yukon XL!

  • That will break the bank.

  • people bash on the X to much if you complaint about gas millage or how impractical it is then y are u looking it up? stop hating just cuz some of you cant afford one, i love mine n love when people get out my way with their lil gay prius n lame hondas n i also like how ur girfriends/wifes would love to ride in it instead of a tiny small compact that u can bearly streach ur feet ;)

  • @papichulo404 I'm here from the Canyonero song.

  • $8861 may be the price, [as shown on the windshield] but it looks to be more like what you'd be paying weekly for gas! xD. I've actually taken a roadtrip in one of these beasts before; it actually gave a nice ride.

  • STROKE ME! STROKE ME! STROKEEEEEE!

  • @owenhartlover2008 thats not a powerstroke :)

  • i bet that is fun to fill up.

  • @owenhartlover2008 Oh I know right with gas at 3.59 a gallon where I live I wouldnt be driving this beast much.

  • whats the name of the song at 5:45

  • Stupid ass rims, the whole truck is dumb. There's really nothing practical about it.

  • @barret46922

That's probably why they don't make these anymore.

  • @barret46922 Except to ram whatever comes in your way (weight being around 7100lbs).

  • nice SUV, gay wheels

  • The sticker on the windshield isn't the price of the vehicle, it's how much you'll pay in gas a month lol

  • @nemoviesnews haha yea I think so too. If you want a bus just go buy a bus then this thing is almost as big as a school bus.

  • I see your girlfriend's 1994 ford mustang

  • seriously, this has 25 more torques then the 2.5L turbo Volvo D5 diesel engine, I was expecting like 500-550 torque from that displacement but nope haha =D

  • @Projective it has 425 lb ft of torque? O.o where are you getting your info from? from what i can find the D5 only has 420newton meters of torque which equates to approx 309 lb ft?

  • its always been cheaper for companys to have huge of amout of cui then acctually making a powerfull engine that are more advanced and less cui.. gotta love this though, insane! =D

  • I don't like the wheels, but the whole car rocks! :D

  • Poor excursion. Someone please buy a set of 16x7 steel wheels and a/t or m/t tires for it ...

  • gotta love ford for making this beast :)

  • I'm sure the E on the gas gauge is no stranger to the dial (:

  • Man thats a beast. If it had the 3V V10 it would be a tank. That suv looks like huge fun. If only it had the stock wheels with mud tires.

  • the engine on the 2000-2005 2004-present (Brazil) Ford Expedition

    Engine

    7.3 L Powerstroke V8 Diesel

    5.4 L Triton V8

    6.8 L Triton V10

    6.0 L PowerStroke V8 Diesel

  • whats the average MPG for this rig?

  • @925goodfella If you have to ask, you can't drive this thing xD

  • @YiJustin558 aha! be i cant either. fuck parking that i bet its a bitchxD biggiest suv iv drove was a Yokon Denali

  • @925goodfella I want to say 11/15 for the V10 models.

  • My dad have one excursion and he has pimped it to a real offroad car and its the biggest excursion i Europe :) Love this car <33

  • this thing just screams "get the fuck out of my way"

  • Dude,

    Love Excursions!

  • the reason why it is a 4x4 is so it can power those guetto rims on it

  • I feel sorry for the person who has to pay for this thing's gas

  • V10 6.8 V10 engine and only 310 horsepower. Even a '07 Lexus LS460 which is a V8 not a V10 and gets 19 mpg city!

  • всего за 8000 баксов??? ахуенно дайте две!

  • the things a fucking hog. its so unnecessary

  • the stereo sound AWESOME :O

  • the worlds best looking lawn ornament

  • for 9k, it must have 250k on it

  • ford 9k, it must have 250k on it

  • I bet this thing gets like 0 city and 1 highway.

  • Hey why dont you put a key in is the key stuck in the ignition

  • no no no no no please dont turn the radio off oh darn it

  • how much is this car?

  • @Alfredo9936 8861

  • how much is this car ??????????????

  • i love the seats there just so comfy lol

  • The airbag light being on is a little concerning, to anyone complaining about the size of the motor, it's not built for racing, its built more for taking abuse from hauling loads, and these motor's along with V8 Triton's have balls. A few years ago when I still used a company truck I drove a 1999 ford f-350 with a V8 triton and it put out a lot of power, we used it for jobs where you needed the power. It doesn't get driven now unless the other trucks are broke, uses to much gas.

  • omi gawddddddd.... 10 cup holders?!?! best truck ever!!!!!

  • for everyone who doesnt know, overdrive is the highest gear in the transmission, and is used to maximize fuel economy by allowing the engine to turn at lower revolutions. If you have a 4speed transmission with O/D, O/D is the fourth and highest gear. In some cases, the highest gear in your transmission has a ratio of 1:1, which mean for every one turn of the engine you get one turn of the driveshaft, which is really high, compared to first gear, which is usually 2.45:1

  • @toyota4life94 LMAO I think it's more like some resident from Jupiter or Saturn

  • @JamalGibran ohh thanks so much :D if i find stuff i don't understand in videos, can i message you on what it is? :3

  • My favorite Ford engine! Thanks Kyle!

  • Was the drivers window not automatic?

  • Well, in Italy im having trouble to afford 10 eros diesel daily on my chrysler 2.4 .......

  • Great video Kyle, I enjoyed it. Nice clean interior, nice carpeting.

  • @toyota4life94 id put some better offroader wheels and some muddin tires lol its a 4x4 after all

  • @toyota4life94 Thank you, some one agrees. And its a Ford, what is to be expected.

  • id buy it for 8 grand and sell the rims for 1k lol

  • @toyota4life94 rims look horrible id rather have the diesel version myself

  • I thought they quit wood steering wheels in the late 1940's?

    brrrr.....hideous.

  • Sucky leather seats. It was in 2003 when Ford re-introduced their leather seats in trucks to a better looking, feeling, and composition of leather.

  • The Excursion is a beast!!!! I LOVE IT!

  • nice truck

  • What the FUCK is with that steering wheel? Wood trim overkill much?

  • @tacomanfan344 mustve been owned by a gangbanger

  • @tacomanfan344 Its called FORD!!! lol

  • @Motorfordtoyota haha. hey my mom's got an '08 escape and there is ZERO wood trim in there, and it has a nice steering wheel. xD i guess it was an awkward period for the company.

  • @tacomanfan344 yeah.

  • Cool thanks

  • this was made back when ford had to make absurdly huge engines just to make a modest amount of power... I always thought those V10's were so pointless when you could just get a diesel and get better mpg, better torque, and it'd easily last twice as long

  • @92ASC The 6.8 V10 was designed as a race car engine, but it was too powerful, and picked up by the truck team. If Ford had of wanted to, they could have done anything to a small block Ford and made 350HP with just pcm tuning. They didn't' because if the emissions police(NAZIs) They didn't have much less power, and nowadays, Smog has diesels cut back so much, they get pretty-much the same economy. Diesel is also more expensive than gas,

  • @92ASC absurdly huge? this engine has less displacement than the diesel they had the time 6.8 liters compared to 7.3. im just sayin....

  • @92ASC same thing goes to those V8s, for example the one in my crown vic. those engines are a huge waste of displacement. now even 4 and 6 cylinder engines make as much hp and torque as my cvpi and a lot more fuel efficient. My guess is that those lower-performance engines are cheaper to design and build.

  • it dosent sound like the v10 in a viper or a gallardo or an m5

  • The taillights looks like a damn Ford van's ..

  • @saabkyle04 at 6:25 I wouldn't call that a HUD its more of an info center. Nonetheless great review as always thanks for the upload

  • what a beast!!! I don't see why it has a gas engine lol

  • theres that dodge that your toured at 00:55 lol

  • I can see why they call it the Ford Excursion, you are always on an Excursion for fuel!

  • heres 80% of total fossil fuel burned.

  • Comment removed

  • Nice truck..what is the buttons on the left driver door?

  • @toyota4life94 yes all rims are going to be built to YOUR specs

  • This thing with a turbo diesel from Bmw or audi and it would be nice, but it still has the weight of a sherman tank.. somehow i still love this stupid thing =D

  • ill take that 350z in the background

  • it sounds like a racecar

  • god only knows what someone would need a V10 in a chelsea tractor.......

  • Great American Built Tuff SUV to last and this Excursion is a Beauty!!

  • Making this video, he burned 60$ of gas.

  • Can you do a review on that Nissan 350Z

Im looking to get one and wanna know the ups and downs of it thnkz

  • @toyota4life94 WAT! THOSE RIMS ARE SICK!

  • Is this bigger or smaller than the Expedition Max?

  • @freegamingsolutions it is MUCH bigger than the Expedition lol...the Excursion was built on the Super Duty chassis. The Expedition I think is on the F150 chassis, but even if not, it is much smaller than these beasts lol. The Expedition Max is more the size of a Suburban, these Excursions were only...slightly smaller than a Hummer H1 lol

  • @freegamingsolutions Bigger, the biggest SUV ever made except the Hummer H1 LOL!

  • I wonder how much money to fill it with gas and what the MPG is??

  • @daredevil7442 the 2005 I drove at work got 12-15 MPG with me driving it lol.... cost @ $1.13/L for fuel it usually cost around $100-$130 to fill it from the fuel light. Very good motors....

  • @strumem90 Thanks for the response.

  • @daredevil7442 no problem.....

  • @daredevil7442 140$ to fill it up, and it gets 8-9 MPG. How do i know this? My mom had one...

  • Vehicle of choice for fat assed middle-aged McDonalds super-sized value meal scarfing yuppie bastards.LOL

  • I'm not saying the V10 is impressive, but again this is why people should do their research before making a comment. The purpose of the engine was to produce peak torque a under 3k RPM. In the case of this V10, it's suppose to push out roughly 420 ft lbs of torque at around 3k RPM.

It's not a race engine, and you can't compare it as such. It's an engine designed to accelerate a large heavy equipment which requires low end torque.

  • @WillTam08 the purpose of the v10 is to deliver close to diesel power without being a diesel, it's a diesel alternative for people who don't care for diesels.

  • @WillTam08

Large heavy equipment...such as kilos of coke and mobile meth labs! hahahaha

  • not an impressive amount of power or torque for an engine of that size.

  • @jackmitchell123 its only 6.8 liters, not a very big v10 (compared to dodges old 8.0), basically a 5.4 triton with 2 extra cylinders. this v10 here was probably a 2 valve, the 3 valve v10s made much better horsepower and torque.

  • chrysler 200 please!!

  • that truck was probably used to film porn videos :P

  • I heard the entire Oil Reserves on Kwait were used to run the engine of this car until this day!

V10? Kyle, do you have an idea of how that sounds for us, Europeans? Its like... O_M_GOD!!!!!! ROFL... only in America!

    :D

Thank you very much for sharing!

  • @DerAdventurer you do realize Europeans use more V10 and V12 than we do right lol...You got the BMW 760, The Mercedes C-Class, The Bentley's (V10), the Rolls Royce's (V10), the Lambos (V10 & 12), the Austin Martins, the Ferrari's and I can keep going, we HAD the 6.8 Ford V10, the Dodge 8.0L V10 and now only have the Viper V10 that is built in North America, so don't say only we have them, WE HAVE ONE NOW llololololol

  • @strumem90 Viper got discontinued.

  • @xioxio38 actually, you are right, but they are unavailing a new Viper for 2012...can't wait to see it :D

  • @strumem90 Eh, I hope it's like the old one or it probably wont be that great.

  • @strumem90 Yes I got it. I believe I did not express myself well in a way to make clear that I meant you would rarely find a 2001 Titanic V10 for sale for only USD 8,861 around here. Car prices in the USA are absolutely low, if compared to European similar ones.

  • @DerAdventurer Only in America huh? I seem to recall a most high end European CARS having V10 and V12 engines. This is a truck with the idea of pulling heavy loads in mind, not a sports car that is worth nothing more than looking pretty and wasting fuel.

  • @LordCaptainWednesday Freedom of speech! \o/

  • @DerAdventurer yea us europeans run 1.2 engines :))) and feel sporty hahah

  • @savuisai I have a friend who exchanged a 1.2 Renault Twingo for a 1.6 VW Polo. She felt like buying a sportscar! :D

  • @DerAdventurer Yeah, they don't make these anymore. We are catching up with you over there in gas prices and can't afford to fill these monsters up. There will always be a need for pickup trucks of this size but I think the oversized SUV is as good as dead.

  • @seany1986 Indeed. From now to future times, vehicles with low MPG will be more oftenly seen as enemies than proud machines in a way of going beyond the acceptable. However, the engine sounds good! LOL

  • Wow, I think this is the only "Limited" version of any car I've seen that doesn't have a sunroof.

  • Needs a rear-facing 4th row! might as well make it count when you're getting 8 MPG!

  • @toyota4life94 Totally, totally agreed...someone has NO taste in rims whatsoever, haha

  • Hey Kyle, and other guys. Could anyone of you tell me what does the overdrive mean, when kyle shows the gear lever? I'm a European and not very familiar with these trannys...

    Thanks.

  • @P2nkzSB overdrive works kinda like having an extra gear/speed. when the transmission shifts into overdrive it is to keep the RPM's down while crusing thus improving the gas mileage

  • @ajd157 Oh, well with a V10 its no surprise it has overdrive :D

  • v10 engine and so slow lol kinda weird

  • @Luke7195 built....to....TOW! not to race!!

  • @strumem90 oh

  • GET THOSE RIMS OFF OF THERE!!!

  • The V10 isn't designed for high revving, high HP. It's a single overhead cam design to produce a large quantity of torque at low RPMs. Your 290HP is probably a dual overhead cam producing a higher quantity of HP at high RPMs, but lacks the amount of torque this engine produces.

Why is it shocking that someone was going to make a comment like that, who looks at raw HP numbers and compare two things that are completely different?

  • @WillTam08

Well said. Not to mention the Excursion isn't designed to be a race car.

  • Wasteful vehicle.

  • Whats overdrive? ;P

  • Can u ddo that nissan 350z

  • 2WD Excursion - Not in Canada! I'd say 95% of Excursions sold in Canada are 4x4 and over half would have the Powerstroke.

  • @Mihebert your pretty much right...I think all were 4x4 here, I drove a 2005 for work with a V10 under the hood. We had one with a 6.0 Powerstroke and it spent more time with the hood up than on the road, that old V10 never let me down in the worst of weather, should have had more here...wish they still made them

  • The ultimate douchebagmobile

  • my moms suv has a v6 with 290 horsepower wtf man

  • What a monster!

  • The problem with these vehicles is that so often they are driven by only one person who does not need the size nor capacity of this vehicle.

  • @586mich

couldn't have said it better myself..bravo

  • $8861 is how much money you'll spend on gas in one year. :P

  • Lol this thing is ridiculously huge. It looks like a hog too. I would feel like I was behind the wheel of a barge instead of an SUV.

  • im the 2,933 viewer

  • With those revs you probably put out enough fuel to get a Toyota prius across the world or to the grocery store lol

  • a solid 8 miles per gallon!!!!

  • i would never buy this SUV, its so huge with no options so its a waste of space and money. The Nissan aramada is same size with better interior and V8 engine and is way better than this.

  • the ultimate soccer mom car. :)

  • the 2000-2005 Ford Excursion was assembled in

    Louisville, Kentucky, United States

    Goiania, Brazil

  • Those wheels are gross

  • can you try doing a nissan rouge sl please ?

  • Too bad this isnt the 3 valve 6.8 v10 with 362hp and 457tq. I love these monsters.

  • Comment removed

  • can you please do a dealership start up for your next video?

  • how dare they stoped making this.

  • 111,000 miles. 111,000 gallons of gas :)

  • @TheGiraffe19 more like 211,111 gallons. lol

  • If you don't look at the style of the wheels, they actually don't look that bad. The low profile makes the truck look newer. Anyway nice vid! I wouldn't mind having this truck if the gas prices weren't as they are now -.-

  • you should da more dealer start ups

  • love the truck hate the rims!

  • Now Thats a truck!!!!! :)

  • What hood rat put those rims on that truck

  • who in gods name would want a wood steering wheel?
