If Arnold had not become 'Arnold' he would have been just another old time great bodybuilder. It's silly the way people conflate his other accomplishments backward into his bodybuilding - creating this cult of personality based not on fact, but hero worship. MANY other bodybuilders have since eclipsed Arnold's body, and not just in size and symmetry.

Not just Zane, Milos Sarcev also had perfect proportions, but that doesn't makes non of them "the best bodybuilders of the time"...

I was saying frank zane was the best of the time, I personally think the best of all time is flex wheeler. He has the most perfect proportions I have ever seen and the size to go along with it. I'm not trying to take anything away from arnold because she was great at what he did and he had the mindset of a champion. That's what separated from everybody else

@cbvett19 Not even close, he looked like a cartoon freak. His muscle shape was completely unaesthetic, overbuilt frog legs, too lean, abysmal v taper, overbuillt triceps, jacked up xmas tree.

Part of proportion is size to height ratio, he failed just like every oversized idiot since the 90s.

I know a few and their bodies are perfectly in proportion. You can even find a few here on Youtube. You use machines because of your back, but doing bodyweight and core excercises would have prevented your back problems from ever occuring. They are also much safer for your back.

Hey "sphinxofthenewage" I'm not a wizz at human biology by any means, but I am an experienced personal trainer and have been around the gym a lot having spoken to many people that have used or are currently using steroids. The statement you wrote "Belly comes not from steroids, but from HGH" is a bit of a contradiction since Human Growth Hormone is actually a steroid you can use. Yes the body has it naturally but you can take HGH as a steroid. I might have misunderstood what u wrote if so sorry.
