I saw them live a couple of weeks ago in Barcelona and the were outstanding. It might be the sound over there, nothing compared to what that show was. Really impressive. Will.I.am played a couple of mix music which included among others, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses....

i guess it's not easy singing while moving around too much especially when the area is too large. they need to sing really loud so they can be heard all over the place with everyone screaming and making noise though. that could be one reason maybe.

Think about it...when their singing live, they have to shout to be heard, and combine it with a microphone, it means they can't sing aswell as normall, because they have to put more effort into yelling to be heard. The mic's amplify their poor notes, and quieten their good ones, so it's another factor. :)
