i am a HUGE fan of ST but i HAVE to agree with you, the blood was BRIGHT ORANGE RED, if the effects were more like the beginning throat slitting scene in Mirrors, that would have been sweeet! and made the movie 10x better. but still...i LOVE ST!

I saw the play of Sweeny Tood it was cool to see the blood effects live!! =D ut the movie was more in your face in a cinematic way. I like the play better.

The blood was meant to be artful and far from realistic so as to not distract from the story line and so they don't disgust people.

Yes,"Sweeney Todd" does have quite a lot of fake-looking blood in it, but come on, you can't beat the fact that Johnny Depp is in it! I was baptized Catholic, although right now I do not act particularly Catholic (I am more nondenominational). According to Wikipedia, St. Christopher is the patron saint of things related to traveling (mariners, ferrymen, motorists, etc.), along with fruit dealers and gardeners (wth?). So...I still don't get why he's on your necklace.

Guru, my (protestant) church performs baptisms fully underwater. In sixth grade, we professed our faith and then were taken in baptismal robes to a jacuzzi-sized pool with water from where Jesus was baptized and then we were baptised during the church service by being dunked fully under the water for a few seconds.
