  • How fast do you think he was going?

  • @DRAT311 400-500 MPH

  • @DRAT311 300-350 mph

  • its always strange to watch a large aircraft do something like this. ever seen one do a barrel roll? search boeing 707 barrel roll

  • This is a rebuilt one with more powerful engine's

  • @METALLICAOWN New to the plane, not a new design. The last new design of the Rolls Royce turbo fan engines was the RB211 535E4 in 1990. All 757's have this engine or the Pratt & Whitney PW2000.

  • 94 viewers work for Airbus. =oP

  • @ReigningThunder ahahahahhahahahaahahah

  • The Pratts will do that straight off the runway. 757s are one of the fastest climbing passenger jets flying now.

  • i clearly kno nothing about planes...

  • Dont sink Dont sink

  • If my plane does that tomorrow, I would have a panic attack and jump out the emergency exit!!!

  • thats the royal new zealand airforces 757 yea

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • oh god!

  • Someone triple dog dared him.

  • Fucking Hell.

  • this is me on flight sim

  • would this cause stress cracks on the aircraft ???????

  • Its looking a bit plain, get it "plane" XD Haha sorry :P Now do a barrel roll!

  • oh jesus

  • Air carriers should let their pilots do that on normal ops, make the announcement "Ladies and gentleman, tighten your restraints and bear down hard in ten seconds. We've got clearance for a direct climb to 31,000."

  • how did he get out of that manoeuvre? Did he roll it over and bring the nose back to the horizon? I can't imagine the 757 rolling through like that !

  • @rawnukles Oh he could have, if you carry enough energy through the ascent, it won't dish out at the top. B757's are pretty agile birds. Either that or he rolled over to a steep bank angle and let it come over.

  • Hopefully there wasn't anyone on board?

  • @monkeyfishninja Well at the very least the crew was...

  • There's a similar performance by a Dutch KDC-10 on YouTube ... except in that case the pass was slow , in full landing configuration, and he still did the "vertical" thing! Empty and light on fuel, these planes are very powerful.

  • Although not quite perpendicular to the ground it was a very steep climb and beyond what I would expect to be the capabilities of a passenger jet.

  • Attention passengers! You may be experiencing slight turbulence as we reach a "comfortable" altitude.

  • picture that but plowing through a hot-air balloon festival... Terrible right???

  • Errectionizer!!!!!

  • Gin and tonic - everywhere

    Screams from the toilet

  • feel the burn

  • it was being flown by the doubledong kid

  • It sounds like an A-10

  • he totally couldve barrel rolled that !

  • like a rocket

  • How fast would you say it's going?

  • man i wish i was in the cockpit

  • would've liked to be on it!

  • damn that was steep

  • *Stalls and crashes after the video cuts* nah, I actually like the 757, pretty impressive.

  • i like waffles

  • Sounds like an A-10 on the approach.

  • thumbs up if you were expecting the plain to stall

  • @SCHMULBACH22 plane not plain

  • @hoplite46 i failed school

  • @SCHMULBACH22 well I hope I helped with your spelling

  • "757 demonstrates the power of momentum"

  • Holy shit!

  • "Viper's goin vertical, so am I"

  • Climbing like a homesick Angel

  • Damn, the 757 can really do some amazing stuff at sea level.

  • i love the sound of those engines!

  • I see how the terrorists crashed those into the trade centers...

  • Someone once flew a B17 up side down, watch one of those big modern ones up side down realy would make my day

  • This is nuts.

  • 757 stall turn imminent. :D

  • Going up!

  • That's hot

  • It sounds like an RC plane lol

  • Pretty sure I was at this airshow !!

Is this the 2006 Airshow at Woodbourne Airforce Base in New Zealand ??? Or Warbirds over Wanaka ?

  • 757 is the sexiest plane ever

  • This ISNT fake, dumb shit.

  • the hi-jackers attempt to fly to heaven

  • Where's he going? The freaken Moon?

  • frikin awesome

  • FAKE & GAY!!!!!!!!

  • @thewordofnotch stfu it isnt fake or gay.

  • Where'd it go?

  • thats awsome!

  • imagine the g's the pilot must be feeling

  • Why do they always stop to film in the best part???WTF!!

  • @Forattini25 Because it went through the clouds and the camera went out of focus.

  • i'd ride in that plane

  • ifrst i thought thats RC plane bcs the sound :D

  • first i think thats a RC bcs the sound ^^

  • first i think thats a RC bcs the sound ^^

  • stall 100 feet left haha

  • When we flew out of Tijuana in 1980, back when AeroMexico was still flown by the military, our pilot did this exact maneuver (to show off for his air force buddies I'm guessing). Luckily no one got out of their seat or they would have free-fallen all the way to the bathroom.

  • WOW thats some relentless power on those engines! (rolls royce!)

  • @Alpie3O lol

  • its a military 757. I forget what military, but i've seen it before.

  • @ritzkai RNZAF :)

  • wooooow, how cool is that!?!?!?!

  • the engines sound like they pulled them right off an A-10, lol

  • Id be afraid of the wings breaking of doing that lol

  • And there wasn't a single picture of the plane that hit the Pentagon...weird.

  • @erikinhawaii a plane didnt hit the pentagon tho..................

  • @erikinhawaii It is impossible to photograph something that wasn't there.

  • @Xoxinwulf you got that right !

  • Eat your heart out A321!

  • Co-Pilot: V-1. Rotate

Pilot: I WUV RED BULL <33333

  • motorbike sound

  • Very much like the approach of the 2nd jet to hit the wtc. Cool and eerie at the same time.

  • @Renejayet Reminded me of United 93 just before it crashed

  • I've seen this plane perform this manoeuvre in person. It pulled out of the climb inverted and then rolled, so that it ended up heading in the opposite direction. It is the most amazing thing to witness.

The plane was from the RNZAF.

  • that sound reminds me of the first plane that hit WTC..

  • he was peddling that thing hard out!!

  • I do this in san andreas all the time * this comment was not stolen*

  • Should always put it on autopilot before running to the bathroom man..AAAHHHHHHHH!!!

  • I´d like to watch when the plane stalls....

  • bloodey women 757 plane drivers

  • why the FUCK don't planes take off like this???... it would sure as hell make the groping and the fingering worth the while... this would be awesome!!!

just as long as he don't do that on landing.... then I'm out!

  • @jcynavarro I do feel like alot of the time they can go at a much higher angle with little g-force difference. They always take their god damn time lol

  • Damn.......

why don't i get a pilot at the controls like that when i'm flying! LOL

  • ill walk

  • Wow! Never thought a 757 could do a Cobra manuever like a fighter jet! Incredible!

  • @ACLTony that aint even close to a cobra maneuver.........

  • @bunny153649 I understand but seeing from this vantage point and considering that it's a big Boeing passenger jet; not a Tomcat, or F-22, it's not a bad imitation of a cobra. Since this was a test flight, I just wonder if the fuel tanks were full and if all seating was installed. Even with lighter metals, and more powerful engines, this is one heavy bird. Glad to see that Boeing can still kick it! Especially after seeing the seemingly frequent publicity that Airbus has been getting for years.

  • I've seen B-47s doing this at Brize Norton only with RATO and that was so loud you couldn't breathe.

  • Any plane will stall if mishandled, and I speak as a qualified pilot, but will these guy's stall? no way in hell. Are these guy's idiots? no way in hell. We watch these guy's do this and many more maneuvers fairly regularly(with some jealousy), and it's beautiful. The filming angle is good, but does not show the climb from the best angle. When seen in profile, it's amazing, and the level off is completed well within the 757's safe operating parameters, which is not shown in this clip.

  • Just kickin it RNZAF style.

  • should of done vertical barrel roll while your at it.

  • stall.. what an idiot. yes it can do it. will you crash 10 seconds later. yes.

  • Comment removed

  • @JamieandhisIbanez There was no stall. These pilots are some of the most professional in the world. This was completely within the safe operating envelope of the aircraft. No RNZAF Pilot would put on some crazy display that wasn't or they'd lose their job. This was a rehearsal for a routine air show demonstration and was carried out as planned and authorised.

  • ears must ve been popping so tough..

  • plane sounded weird as it passed and yea that was a pretty kool video

  • *ahem* STALL

  • @rctlover1 lol stalling in 3 2 1.

  • @MettlerCO

    lol

  • mr-rolls-royce.narod2.ru/modelnii_ryad/phantom_drophead_coupe - rolls royce coupe

  • I want to see him loop it.

  • /watch?v=BjNyQvhsQE8

    Also pretty cool.

  • /watch?v=RQBGDsakXbM

    /watch?v=A_QCh7xVG6A

    Owned =)

  • FUCKIN WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • crazy

  • they should have a HOLY SHIT reaction lol

  • STALL STALL WARNING THE ¨PLANE HAS STALLED

pilot : edject eject god dammit

....oh wait theres no ejector seat on passenger planes oh well at least i still have my gun

  • The 75’ is an exceptional performance machine. In the 90’s, I regularly rode United’s 75’s in and out of Monterey CA. While runway 28L at 7600’ was more than enough for the lightly loaded old girl, I still remember the excitement of the Carmel visual. An approach off the Pacific, through a canyon, toward a close in mountain range, tight 180, and immediately on the deck. Plenty of go arounds and “terrain pull up” warnings. But, I always felt safe knowing the capabilities of this aircraft.

  • best...sound...evar

  • Fly out of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, CA...they fly like this daily...noise abatement law..then when they hit 800 ft..the level the nose..and shut the power down immensely...

  • they say a daft muslim kid flew a plane like this into the pentagon

  • I hate that annoying buzz-saw that all RR engines have...makes for a very long flight. Should of had a set of PW2000's on there instead.

  • а че не мертвая петля??

  • really hope no FAA guys are watching this!

  • That's pretty sweet.

  • and people say 757s can't fly at great speeds at low altitude- sigh, idiot conspiracists.

  • Comment removed

  • @fjh1616 Just how fast do think that plane is flying?

  • @AirNZZKOJ yeah the plane overlapped them, that is what my point is not the antenna wires dumb fuck

  • Well i see my tax dollars spent wisely pilot wants to experiment with a multimillion dollar aircraft on a vertical climb.

  • I would absolutely die if I was a passenger and he climbed like that. Im talkin drop dead like a fly. No frickin way!

  • Hmm, spooled up turbofans *drool

  • 757's a good looking bird.

  • fake. 0:16-0:17 the plane overlapped the ropes

  • @Criticandwatcher it's real, there's tonnes of videos on here of the RNZAF 757 performing displays like this. The "ropes" are the antenna attached to the tail of a Hercules in the foreground.

  • @Criticandwatcher They are HF antenna wires on the herc you dumb fuck!!!!

  • it sounds like a weed-wacker

  • well the passengers swallowed their balls in this fine evening

  • daaaang!!! that's gotta be a hell of a lot of thrust not to stall out....

  • someone please tell him that his not in airforce no more...

  • omg. does that plane doesn't lose speed???

  • Comment removed

  • WTF! Who in the world can't tell the difference between a Boeing and an Airbus?

  • It's an Airbus, NOT Boeing.

  • @jacanter a 757 IS a Boeing

  • NOISE ABATEMENT!

  • amazing..how it could be...

  • why can't airlines do that anyway - we would get up to cruising altitude more quickly and the journey would be shorter

  • @johnster1964 Because it eats up so much fuel and the stewardesses can't walk. Plus all the idiots that didnt secure their luggage would lose all their shit

  • @NavyPilot2011 Thanks Navypilot....I was kinda kidding anyway :-)

  • Nice vid. That is 60 degrees not 90. Still good.

  • fucking hell thats awsome :)

  • it won't stall out??

  • @miamiwax that looks like a stripped out demonstration/military plane. with passengers, cargo and a full fuel load it'd be a different matter

  • @liakyh yep, military. It's one of two 757's in service with the New Zealand air force, they're converted for quick change - so can be converted between passenger/freight/VIP etc.

  • @miamiwax It's 60 degrees. Not 90.

  • @waterattack I would say your about right maybe a little more than 60 but defiantly not 90.

  • passengers "please buckle your seat belts - thank you"

  • Go RNZAF Base Auckland and 40 SQN!!!!

  • i thought commercial airplane engines stall if u do that

    guess they dont anymore

but still i would not want to be a passenger on that plane

  • 0:15 dudes chillin on a plane ! lol

  • Thats what happends if you let the stig use a 757

  • @glynhoyland hey that wasnt me
