  • wait that last one is not the Schutzstaffel its actually wermacht if it was SS it would have the black and white ss logo or if tank division it would have deaths head

  • Those "spanish" ones look too much like M17 and m16 German standard infantry helmets from wwi

  • The 4th helmet that was a Nazi party shield

  • Terminal99 you selling the German helms? How much? If you get a size 66 i'd buy that off ya.

  • @Dercommandingofficer Thanks but they sold.

  • 10 FUCKING DOLLARS? I BOUGHT mine for $420 and its not even original paint!

  • Doesn't cleaning them with wire wool & spirit risk taking off the original paint beneath the silver rubbish & the insignia too?

  • @kcirdrab Mineral spirits will not harm the original paint - it's very durable. You do have to be careful around the decal. If you apply too much pressure or let the spirits sit too long on the decals, they can come off. Just work on small areas at a time and be gentle.

  • @terminal99 Thx, appreciated

  • Ok, here goes... FYI: The first GERMAN helmet is an M42 Luftwaffe helmet. The next one is an M35 Police helmet. Progression(in german helmet design) -M35 rolled rim, and riveted air vent;M40 rolled rim and stamped air vent; M42 flared rim, and stamped air vent. Dont listen to people who dont know what they are talking about. If you doubt what I say, go study for yourself! I think I commented before, but these are some neat buys, sucks there were no liners, and painted over, but I would have!

  • @vetitoe362 good post

  • The white helmets are m42 or 30-35 and are Nazi German helmets because the darth vader look, the reason their WW2 is because they dont have the horns like my WW1 helmet which is dull green

  • lucky you got 6 for $60 i got 1 for $70

  • That first helmet probably belonged to someone in a massachusetts artillery regiment.

  • Just wondering if you have any tips or ideas on trying to paint or buy helmet decals for a german helmet.

  • nice, where did you get em?

  • are any of those for sale?

  • @godieinafirenow Thanks but these sold a while ago.

  • @ChowAtTheY Thanks for the great information!

  • WOW.... Were they absolutely CLUELESS about the worth of these helmets?

Did they just find them as junk or what???

And Here I was thinking I was lucky for getting my Spanish/German helmet on Ebay for about under $40.

  • @14sJakeB190 Thanks, they did not know what they had. I didn't hang around to ask.

  • ...Woah Man,You Made Out!,.,Your 1st helmet looks to be a Canadian Brodie Mk I,,if The Two Stahlelms you Found dont have a Folded Hem around the edge Then Your Pretty much correct about them Being Spanish. The Next Helmet Has Wehrmacht Markings on it,,it Looks to Be an Earlier model prior to M-35,could be after the decline of Sturmabteilung !.Really Good Catch!,...lucky day.

  • the last helmet where you dont know the second decal is just the german swastika flag, red shield, white circle and black swastika ^^ very good helmet btw =D

  • 2:20 is a german police helmet

  • no doubt thats a ss mark

  • thats an awesome find you got your self there like

  • @donoghue666 Thanks - it was a thrill finding them.

  • Double decal ss m40 you did strike gold

  • Did the seller provide any info on these helmets???????

  • @HonRevPTB The seller gave no information on the helmets. I just wanted to pay for them and get them back to my truck. A lot of oher people were starting to gather around.

  • OMG!!!!!!! Who was stupid enough to paint all those helmets & secondly even more stupid to sell them for $10 a piece!????? You really struck a home run!!! As I'm sure you're well aware of, any authentic WWII German stuff is worth loads!!! The market is so flooded with fake re-pops now! Good for you buddy!

  • @HonRevPTB Thanks!

  • where did u get them from ???????????????

  • i think mass represents the state in usa , like ny ,new york awesome find mate

  • @nissmoguy Thanks! I think you're right.

  • terminal99 is right about the SS police helmet. Unfortunately they were one of the worst groups. They were the ones who captured the jews behind and the front lines and sent them to the murder camps.

  • how much for the black german if for sale?

  • et64 on this one youtube com/watch?v=85dfUoKmJ0Y&NR=1

  • Yes, my friend you definately got lucky!!

  • 10$ EACH INSANITY!!!!!!!!!! the cheapist ive seen a ww2 helmet is 80$ you my friend are one of the most luckiest men alive

  • at the black german helmet

this red thing on the left side

    is a "hakenkreuz"

  • @KenjiiParadize Thanks, I learned a new word.

  • @terminal99

You really got lucky! I envy you.

The white painted German helmet is of the Luftwaffe (airforce). Probably ground forces air defence in Russia. The white paint was common as camouflage in the snow. Maybe of a crewmember of the infamous german 88mm gun.

The black helmet with the swastika on it sure is SS. It is a helmet of the SS Polizei (police). I can tell from the decal on the left side of the helmet. I've got one of those.

Both are worth hundreds of dollars or euro's!

  • @KenjiiParadize Great find! Btw. why would anyone produce an aluminum helmet? That's not going to protect you from anything.

  • oops, that wasn't meant to be a reply to a comment...

  • Lucky bastard. World War 1 helmets fetch quite a pretty penny.

  • Goddamn your lucky. Like winning the lottery. Hats off to you it doesnt happen to often...

  • @mehlville97 Thanks, I was just in the right place at the right time.

  • the helmet you think is an SS helmet is the M35 because of the vent hole sticks out

  • Would the mineral spirits hurt the decal at all? I have a WW2 German helmet and

would like to take a better look at the barley visible decal.

  • @nowstick The mineral spirits worked fine on the helmets I had. Use very fine steel wool and take it slow and gentle. Let's see a video of it.

  • @terminal99 hey i has a question. waht if theres no leather stuff in the helmet ? thx

  • @aimhoff82 This is a common problem for these helmets. The leather dries out and crumbles away if not taken care of.

  • @terminal99 oh cool thx

  • @terminal99 do you no were i can get a good helmet for a good price ? 50$ ??? thx

  • @aimhoff82 for an original German WW2 helmet, you might find one starting at $100, but it's going to be rough. Check out Ebay or gunbroker.

  • wow wat a find if it was ss

  • Check out Morning Star Market in York PA its the one ordinary people go to theres a mix of trash and treasure, the only thing is the guy who sells the War stuff and rifles is a Racist and sort of a Nazi sympathizer.

  • @4Deadserious Thanks, I'll have to take a look.

  • i got the first helmet in there that all black one(not one of the nazi helmets) only that mine is white and has scratches so i is probaly used in combat

  • @Alphieboy If it is white it was for sure repainted. Therefore the scratches were made after the war.

  • @nowstick no the helmet is from world war one and it is probably used maybe in findland so they painted it white so it would be harder to se the owner of the helmet, but who knows

  • @Alphieboy Yes,, it is possible it was white for camouflage in the snow.

  • i got a wwI helmet not shure wich country it is from but it reminds about those hats that they use on film

  • i saw a commbder cap

  • what flea market do you go to? the one near me only sells crap.

  • @MrDominator5050 There are two types of flea markets. One that sells new made in China junk and one that ordinary people sell their unwanted things. You want to find one that ordinary people go to. The next key thing is to get there early - like before dawn. I bought these around sunrise. The good stuff goes quick.

  • I will send u a link w/ pics

  • They are all german retard. And the second to last one is a red decal w/ a white swastika didn't you ever pay attention in school?

  • @aumiller1994 There's no reason to leave an nasty comment. Just stick to the facts.

  • @aumiller1994 your fucking stupid there not all germancheck your facts you dumb ass befor you start runnin it jus because they look like wat you see in movies

  • @aumiller1994 the first one was british american or canadian they look pretty much the same and at the time spain was alligned with nazi germany that explains the swastika. the last one was most likely a ss helmet

  • I'm pretty certain the red decal with a bit of a swastica is a police decal.

  • First 1 is a WWI U.S Dough Boy Helmet, 2nd & 3rd one is from german/spanish, or they could be the German m16s or m14s, 4th 1 is a german m35 Luftwaffe helmet, 5th 1 us an other luftwaffe helmet, more than likely an m45,

  • @recreatedtiger ur i'm sorry yeah the 5th one is a police helmet.. traditional Austrian

  • The german one whte one is a luftwaffe and the other one is a police double decal with the rolled rim

  • its a lufftwaffe helmet

  • 2nd to last helmet, that red shield you didn't know is the swastika, just badly marred.

  • The one that you said was painted black is a German helmet, those decals on the sides both had swastikas on them.

  • Company "A" Massachusetts. They were under Gen. Pershing, and were considered shock troops by the French and British. The Spanish is pretty common, however the German helmets are worth anywhere from $300-500 in present state.NEVER scrape any paint off, use a mild acid that will strip the outer layer and keep the decals intact with color. If you do that and find original liners for them then your looking at $900-1000! GREAT find!Once a man sold an unopened box of Jap rifles for $50 , I missed out

  • @ginko27 Thanks for the information. It's hard enough to find a Japanese rifle at a flea market here - much less a whole box.

  • @terminal99 If you are lucky and find a makers mark on the inside of the leather liner?(I can't remember if yours has the liner or not?) then you can tell where it was pressed, and sometimes what year it was made in. A VERY few of them have a stamped mark on the inside of the helmet. If it has one of these then the value skyrockets. None of the helmets where made in Bulgaria, most were made in Germany under contract. Remember after this year ALL will be destroyed by the EU. Big wast of history

  • @ginko27 I don't know what the marks were. I sold both helmets a while ago.

  • @ginko27 pm with details about this destruction plz

  • @PanzerIb It was supposed to be done all hush hush, but a group who buys tents and coats for eastern Europe's poor and homeless was sent a letter saying that at the end of THIS year all military goods no longer in service including clothing, coats, tents, heaters, helmets, firearms, ammo, ect. will be destroyed. This includes stuff is hundreds of years old like swords, cannon, and everything in the storehouses. The only way to save them is to get them out of the EU or get them into a museum.

  • @PanzerIb I think they are doing this to keep weapons out of the hands of the population. Bribing government officials for antique swords and guns has been going on for quite some time. A crate of British made Confederate Enfeild muskets (complete with an old list of the bill of sale to Hungry by the U.S. after the war) was purchased by a guy in Florida. His contacts in Europe bribed the quartermaster and had them shipped to him for $500. That's what the worlds going to lose.

  • @ginko27 so what about stuff in private collections?

  • @PanzerIb if it's in a private collection, then it's safe. Only the unused military goods owned by the member countries of the EU will be destroyed.

  • @terminal99 Lastly,I don't know how much you know of German helmets but the maker's mark is on the back inside the helmet pressed into the steel. There are many sites on the net that can tell you when and where it was made. If you don't find one, the in some cases they are fakes made for movies and panted over for different films, or copies made by other countries on German machinery after the war an repainted by collectors to look real. Sometimes the makers mark is very light so look hard.

  • I like that Luftwaffe helmet too... You suck for finding these!

  • The red and white shield is indeed SS(red flag white circle, and a swastika), The other side looks like a police shield.... and looks to be an M35 if Im not mistaken. For ten dollars you stole it if it is real. To bad someone painetd it. Good finds! I dont know enough to know weather those two decals would go together. Have you sold them all?

  • what chance do you buy one of your helmet just to know

  • @NCISlasalvetat I do not understand your question.

  • i think the third helmet is from the german air force, the "luftwaffe".

  • Hey Nice find, The one helmet with the rolled rim, Is actually german, as you can see in the Design it is a red and then a white circle and black lines, that generallly faded out due to age. I belive the worn out design is a german SS swastika Design/Emblem.

  • @msmokingpenguin Thanks

  • @msmokingpenguin no its not SS sorry to bust your balls the SS had the SS runes or letters on the side not the eagle

  • @cheebazoot503 yea bud, but it had no eagle, ive think youve misatken me, there are 2 helmets with the rolled rim, you can obviously see the faded out mark where the swastika once was coated on.

  • the third one you did was Luftwaffe and the other i believe is military police...

  • the spanish ones look like stahlhelms

  • the spanish werent in ww2

  • @micealmgf1 militarys would still develop military innovatians though

  • @micealmgf1 , yes they was my friend! a small div was sent to the russain front, but spain didnt like the way they were treated and they came back! but they walked back and not many came back! you should check your history books! i too have some of there helmets etc as i collect ww2 german items and i have a very large collections of items!.

  • man, idk know about you but i say those other helmets that you call "spanish" are also german!

  • @johnzeppfan I wish that they were German, but I'm 100% sure they were Spanish. Will

  • Those silver painted helmets are indeed Spanish. You can tell by the extra liner rivets. The other two german helmets are a real cool find. Especially for that price! I got one German M40 helmet from a farmer a year or 6 ago for 10€ together with some winter boots. It didn't have that much paint left though.

  • @HPBrowningBoy Thanks

  • @terminal99 I will buy one of the Spanish ones from you. You choose the price.

    Thanks -john

  • @killa123211 Thanks but I sold them a while ago. Will

  • @killa123211 I have a Spanish Helmet if you're interested.

  • @CamaraMan5000 does it look anything like the ones in the videos?? and how much??

  • @killa123211 It is Olive Green, with a new liner put in....but I'll refurbish it for free if you want.

  • @CamaraMan5000 how much u want to sell it for

  • @killa123211 Uhh, Idk...what do you think?

  • @CamaraMan5000 idk i dont really need one it would probably end up a target for the r700 so whatever u want

  • @killa123211 Ohh....well it's ok....I'm not obliging you to buy...haha.

  • Hi Javie, for you , I'll take $80 including shipping. The one with the red shell on the front right? Will

  • The last German one is a police combat helmet. Nice finds.

  • @Storm469 Thanks

  • @terminal99 how much will you sell the ww1 helmet? thanks javie

  • for the helmet decal that you said you werent shure what it was, im pretty sure its a swastica. Most german helmats had a swastica decail on the left side.

  • @blinkfan1654 yeah what he said.. probably a swastika decal since i see some red & white left usualy in the middle of that there would have been a black swasi

  • i think the first helmet u showed is most lickley british mass is probobly sappers!

  • Pretty good cashe, reminds of someone I

knew who has since passed on who found

a German para helmet thrown out by the curb during an annual brush pick up back

in the 1980's later sold for around $ 1700.00

    Jman

  • not spanish german

  • Good for you, here you can find somthing like that about for 300\400 €!!

  • only 10 €???amazing!!

  • @miketower83 Hi - It was cheaper than that - only 10 US dollars :-)

  • why would somone paint them thats not good

  • omg! the A is first army. i would assume that mass. is as in the state. i would think that if you remove the paint on the spanish helmet you'd find they're german as well.

  • @slavery4m I think the WW1 helmet is from a coast artillery unit. I did remove the paint from the areas where there would be a decal on the spanish helmets. They had nothing there. I have sold all the helmets except the WW1.

  • Damn theyre originals right ... i like the german helmet for some reason...

  • @PEDROCLASSIC they are my favorite also.

  • @terminal99 that's a british soldier helmet 1918 era i think or maybe WW2. You should repaint the german helmets. the black one belongs to the WAFFEN SS unit. you've got a nice collection my friend. i have the KRIEGSMARINE nazi flag.

  • so the spanish helmet is left right

  • @azazzaful the spanish helmets are sold. The only helmet left is the US WW1 doughboy helmet.

  • What helmets do you have left

  • @azazzaful Just the WW1 with the artillery shell on the front.

  • does that one look sort of like a german

  • are you selling any of those helmets because I might be interested in one of those german helmets.

  • @azazzaful Hello, I sold both German helmets. Will

  • Lucky find mate. The German Helmet with the rolled edge is a German SS, Military police helmet. The side with the red bares a swastika, the other side bares the symbol for the SS military police.

  • @CreativeDesignDigi Thanks for the information.

  • Hello, Say what part of the U.S. do live to get these great Deals?????? I live in SOCAL AG

  • I'm near Baltimore. Good deals can be found at any flea market though. The flea market must be one where people sell their stuff - not one where all they sell is China junk and knock offs. Get there early - I use a flashlight to look around. Know what to look for and have a little luck and the deals will come. I doubt I will ever find a helmet deal like this ever again, but you never know. This is what makes searching fun.

  • the aluminium one is a german WW I steel helmet!

  • That is a swastika on the side if you can't tell what it is

  • i am colecting ww2 helmets. i all ready found 1 canadian and 1 american helmet in my friends ranch.

i hope the next time we dig we find a nazi helmet.

  • That sounds like fun. I like metal detecting.

  • he man its me again you remember me im the expert i got a new helmet a SS singeldecal verry nicw ith liner 100% original it got a bullet hole in it tho oje do you have some new helmets i like to see cheers

(ps) if you need to now anything about ww2 german military just mail me

  • @SStotenkopfgruppen Thanks, I have not found anything like this since. It will probably be a while before I find some nice German things. I'll let you know when I do.

  • the guy you bought it from fucked them up reaaly :(

  • the german helmite pantid silver is a lutwafa helmit and rolde rimed helmits are werth more then nonrolde helmits

  • Thanks

  • The mass probably means Massachusetts which might be where the division is from, just a guess.

Are you willing to sell the doughboy helmet or one of the spainish ones or do you want to keep them?

  • I think that you are right. I think it was a coastal artillery helmet. The red on the helmet is in the shape of a shell. I just sold one spanish helmet on Ebay for $25. The other spanish helmet and the Mass helmet is going into a auction next month. I'm thinking of putting a reserve of $90 on it. If it does not sell, I'll let you know.

  • The one at 2:14 is a German helmet also.

The insigna is a worn off red shield with a white circle in the middle. Before it was scratched off, there was a swastika in the middle of the circle.

  • yeah the second one was german too.

im soooo jealous and such a huge ww2 fan at age 15. im german too which means most ppl think im a nazi. :(

    i want a ww2 helmet soooo bad

  • dude... who the hell thinks u're a nazi.. stop making shit up for internet sympathy.

  • and the luftwaffe helmet (first german helmet) is a very lucky find especially for $10

  • 2:15 was the Nazi Germany Swastika in black inside a white circle inside a red shield

  • that red decal 2:15 helmet was the Harke Cross. That Red,white and black one,the German Reichs Sign

  • great stuff ! do u have plans on selling one of your german helmets

  • the 2nd german one is a field police helmet.

  • Thanks

  • hello, the one with the decal on the side thats white is a Luftwaffe helmet, btw

  • a great find...

  • thanks

  • 2.15 that is a nazi sign is it that black one it must of been one of waffen ss or something because they were dressed in black uniform
