  • I was scammed by a company called FORINKANDMORE from San Marcos, Texas. They advertise continuous ink systems for your printer. Your credit card will be charged but you will NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING. I am not the only one duped by this SCAM. Whats more they have instruction vidoes right here on youtube! Warn others before they too are duped! Thanks

  • i no how 2 get it 2 print rite, epson software is screwing up the prints wen it sees that its not there ink,,use the scc service utility,,download it,then print youre pics converted 2 a pdf,im useing foxit phantom, pdf maker reader printer etc,i print my picws in 2 foxit printer witch turns it in 2 a pdf, then i print with foxit on my epson 220,and its dead nuts perfect after 3 yrs of bul shiite,,youre heads arent dirty, epson is screwing up youre pics in the software, sue them 2 hell

  • Do they sell this system for the epson 1400. I cant believe i purchased the alpha supply magic flow cis system for the epson 1400 when i could have just skipped over all of those extra things to do. I am so upset. I wish i would have stumbled upon you before imade the purchase

  • Works great. One downer to it. You must wait a day for air to run throw the system before you can print. After you instal it.

  • MONEY. This is not the theme.

  • ahaha, a tip to people who do a lot of color prints. The Epson 1400 color printer will give you VERY good prints. It printers can print up to 13x19 inch paper (i use 11x17 for all my prints). You can get one off of ebay for around $200, 80 for a good CIS (from amazon) and get ink refills ($35 amazon). That will last for a very long time. One thing lots of people do is they get a good printer but skimp out with low quality inkjet paper which make the prints splotchy. gl pplz

  • . how if the cartridge is not on its place a long period of time.? it can still work?

  • Regarding the CIS for the RX680 epson printer:

How exactly do you plan on setting the chips after installation of your CIS?

When you install your system, it says cartridges cannot be recognized - Without a physical device to reset those chips, YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK!

  • Don't attempt putting any CIS on an RX 680

I have yet to find any CIS that works on that model!

  • If an epson RX 680 fails to recognize your cartridges, what solution could you offer?

For example, is there a way to reset the chipsets; or some other solution?

  • Actually you do not need to reset the Chips manually, they can reset themselves automatically. If your pritner(RX680) does not recognize the chips, maybe the chips are defective, or the chips are not the latest chips. Epson changes the software from time to time, if you have a new printer, you have to use the latest chips, you can contact the seller for the latest chips.

  • Epson is garbage. And don't argue. YES it *IS* garbage. Most definitely. Not an opinion. Not debatable. It's a bona fide carved in stone F_A_C_T.

Epson is garbage and that, is, that.

  • Guess that piersonb moron changed his mind. Epson *IS* garbage. Wholeheartedly so.

I'm now using only printers where the print head is inside the cartridge and I haven't had an problems anymore.

    HP for me mostly now.

Epson's design is bullshit, because it uses a fixed head which is a fatal design flaw.

    Only ignorant fanboys defend them.

  • Yeah, yeah... we hear you. You think Epson printers are garbage. But dude, seriously, you're trolling a fucking *PRINTER* video. Twice in 11 months. With no takers. That's pretty fucking pathetic. You should probably find something else to do, because it's probably getting pretty lonely under that bridge of yours.

  • As long as my point that Epson printers such is heard. And it is. Epson printers *do* suck - BIG TIME. And you *know* I'm right.

  • Actually, I bought a 1400 a few months ago for proofing some of our studio shots and overall i've been very impressed. Image quality is very good, speed is acceptable, Reliability and maintenance have been non-issues. Good paper is very expensive and drastically affects print quality, but ink costs per page are completely on par with other "cheap" ink jets. I've put several hundred full colour Super-B size pages through this printer without issue.

  • I've had two Epson printers. One of the earlier ones, and later an all in one. Both kept clogging (on actual Epson ink), and became harder and harder to clean. A lot of ink has be gushed through before it cleared, and even then a couple of holes kept closed no matter what.

The all-in-one had an amazingly long start up ritual moving the heads, spitting ink, like there is no tomorrow. Epson *knows* it has problems, and even their rigorous cleaning cycles don't fix it.

  • So they both became door stoppers, very unfortunate. When it actually printed, it printed very nice quality prints, no qualms there.

I though at first that only a fixed head printer would be accurate enough to print good quality. This didn't turn out to be the case at all. HP's print just as nice and accurate, and the nozzles are built into the cartridge. Replace cartridge, get new head. No long ink transport lines.

    Epson is clearly the loser.

  • How much does Canon pay you to go around blasting Epson? lol

  • Why Canon? And do you wish to contest the fact that Epson sucks?

  • Epson is fine. Some of their products are great, and some not so great. The point is, every single one of the major printer companies have made very good printers and junkers. That's a simple fact. And I've used TONS of different printers, having worked in IT for 20 years. At home I use a CX4800. Works like a charm. At work I use (among around 300 different other printers) an Epson Stylus Pro 3800. The output is astoundingly good, and the printer is virtually trouble-free. You're lost.

  • Epson uses a fixed head.

    1. long ink lines from cartridge to head, candidate for clogging

    2. replace cartridge does not replace head / nozzles

    3. start up procedure ridiculous attempts to unclog ink stuck in long transport lines

Two Epson's in the garbage. HP, zero issues so far.

  • hi - i was wondering if any of you guys can help me out,i bought one of these ciss systems for my epson DX7400 and i installed it but it doesnt seem to be working - when i go to print anything it says that the ink cartigres are incompartiable with the printer and i should buy geniune epson ink.....

if any can help me out i would really appercate it - please

pm me or leave a comment

    thanks

  • it seems the chips have a problem, you can contact the seller fr more help.

  • I have owned a Echo CISS on my Epson R340,it's the only way to go!! I would not buy another printer unless I could get a CISS for it...

  • Is there color profiles available for inks you are using? Or I would have to build my own? I am having hard time believe I can have 100% color match with genuine ink without profiling.

  • it will be reset automatically, you do not do anything.

  • good video. Too bad the kit itself doesn't come with cis installation for the Epson 1400 Watching this video helped temendously.

  • do you know how to reset the overfill counter?

  • it will be reset automatically, you do not do anything.

  • the two red lights are flashing and the counter needs to be reset. Anybody know how. BTW this product is great saved lots of money:).

  • did you buy it from us? if yes, please send an email to us, we will tell you how to do it.

BTW, when did you buy your printer?

  • I bought it from my local computer store :(, sorry. The printer is about a year old and works perfectly.

  • it seems the auto-reset chips do not work, the guys in computer store know how to fix them or just get the new chips from the computer store. nothing else.

  • I need to reset the ink counter. The lights are flashing and it says it needs to be serviced. Damn Epson keeps on coming up with stuff so you have to spend money.

  • Thanks anyways, I got it working, i reset the counters, with a cool program.

  • I bought this product on the off chance it might not suck. I finally ran my original ink cartridges dry, and installed this kit. I've printed 75 continuous prints and have not had a single problem. For the cost of this thing, it's well engineered. Definitely recommend.
