@rodolfo23cr F40 is supercharged and forced induction is just forced induction. Not every motor can handle the boost that some can. Take the 2jz for example. Take a look at the veyron. you only get turbo lag in old turbo's or unless its a huge fucker. the turbo in mines picks up instantly, it pulls better in higher gears at low speeds than no turbo cars. then you get jdm impreza with a twin scroll that fully boosts at 3k revs while your non turbo has to rev its cunt off.

@TestECull Some turbos have lag based on if u have the money for the tuning and the anit-lag system, every1 knows that turbos have lag its not a damn supercharger on a 350 sb. u could also prevent a lot of lag by upgrading to a good size turbo and installing a vortex supercharger with it. it is pricey but if u want max pull on low boost u can do that or theres the twin turbo as well but im sure u knew that=)
@jordanE123 Or you could stop fucking around with turbos and just use the supercharger. Seems to be the cheaper, more reliable, lag-free solution to me. You don't need to be using a chevy smallblock to use a supercharger.
Also, anti-lag systems make the engine sound like shit. Literally. They sound like they're flying apart. i'd sooner run without boost than use something that makes the same sound that breaking rods make.

They're both brilliant cars and while the Subaru is better value, you have to remember that the Testarossa is 20 years older and that it's a luxurious grand tourer, rather than a pureblood racer.

Subaru makes good cars and the turbo was not tuner inspired. It's a fucking rally car. It is not to be compared with hondas and shit which is what I am getting from your "turbo guys" comment.

you only get turbo lag in old turbo's or unless its a huge fucker. the turbo in mines picks up instantly, it pulls better in higher gears at low speeds than no turbo cars. then you get jdm impreza with a twin scroll that fully boosts at 3k revs while your non turbo has to rev its cunt off.

@TestECull Some turbos have lag based on if u have the money for the tuning and the anit-lag system, every1 knows that turbos have lag its not a damn supercharger on a 350 sb. u could also prevent a lot of lag by upgrading to a good size turbo and installing a vortex supercharger with it. it is pricey but if u want max pull on low boost u can do that or theres the twin turbo as well but im sure u knew that=)

Also, anti-lag systems make the engine sound like shit. Literally. They sound like they're flying apart. i'd sooner run without boost than use something that makes the same sound that breaking rods make.

They're both brilliant cars and while the Subaru is better value, you have to remember that the Testarossa is 20 years older and that it's a luxurious grand tourer, rather than a pureblood racer.
If I were to choose which of those cars I'd buy, it'd be the Ferrari. But it's much more likely I'll buy myself a Subaru, as they are more reliable and economical, because let's face it, I'm not filthy rich.

@DILightning Yeap, so basically you are saying that driving a passenger car on dirt invented by japanese bean counters doesn't mean shit when you own a testarossa that pulls high class supermodels and will be worth 20 times more than a WRX will in 20 years time. It seems the only defense for Evo and WRX owners seems to be "oh wow it can rally" like driving on dirt is the main reason why cars were invented. Try racing a WRX at Le Mans you idiot against a real car like an F40. Real.

@FairlaneNL i don't drive for the bitchs. and i don't spend money for a name. it's all about performance on WHAT EVER surface your on. dirt, snow dry or wet concrete it's the wrx all the way. and to compare an f40 to a 'w', really? with all the extra money i save on the sub i could be back at the hotel with all the girls while your out pull'en your pud in the parking lot.

@DILightning Try racing a Subaru on a F1 circuit. Or race a 430 Scuderia, 360 Challenge Stradale, 599 GTO, 599 XX, Enzo, Enzo FXX, 458, FF. Don't bully a brand souly on one race where you have a more modern Subaru against a dated classic Ferrari, which would still buy out 10 of your Subarus.

I've seen plenty more posers in Jap cars than Ferraris. If you're a poser in a Ferrari you have something worth looking at.
