  • This is the masters 5, Rosie tenor, James Blackwood, Jake & J.D.Sumner on bass.

  • The pictures are of the Master's 5, but I recorded the concert in Memphis hooking into the speaker system. I now have it on Cassette and on CD. The tenor is Rosie, not Denver Crumpler. I am not sure if this was recorded in 1965. All I know is My friends and I all drove from Birmingham, Ala. to Memphis to the Quartet Convention a long time ago and I was so fortunate that James Blackwood and Rosie let me hook directly into their sound system. • This must be a recording from the first Convention in 1957. The tenor singer sounds like Denver Crumpler. Denver passed away later that year.

  • Phil you should know, we were probably there. I think the one we attended was in 1965 because I was incollege. I even remember what I wore. It was a long and wonderful weekend.

  • 1960?

  • What year is this?

  • @lonemapper

    Preacherman4796 says it is 1962.
