worthy down airfield - pillboxes & old station halt ,winchester

some nice pictures of the Pillboxes at Worthy Down and im hoping to visit the area very soon as i tried to vist there last month but it all went a bit wrong grrrrrrrrrrr so im glad to see what there is there and im not sure how many i will get to see but i hope i can find the 2 Pickett - Hamilton Pillboxes if there are still there as iv looked on Google Earth and its not very clear where they are .';-)

@tacticalbattledroid we didnt find the pickett hamiltons either,not for the want of trying.if anywhere i think they are behind the houses on your left as you drive into the worthy down complex.love to know there whereabouts if you find them.also on the opposite side of the road that leads to winchester there is a bridle path that goes over the bypass opposite WD.cross the metal bridge and there are a lot of pill boxes on the right and a quetta hut in the copse.hope this gives you a head start.

thank you for sharing your memories,i know bull farm,near the king charles pub.the only thing i didnt find , but will look for another day is the 2 pickett - hamilton pill boxes. they are situated on the old airfield ( now farmland) .but we had done enough exploring for one day.and it was very muddy!
