I never understood why people feel the need to insult another singer as a way to prove how much they like someone else. If you don't like that other person, don't listen to their music. Enjoy the person you like and let that be that.

This album came out the year I moved to San Francisco. I used to play it over and ovre. It was produced by Thom Bell (of Philadelphia International fame), so it gives you the tail-end of the standard 1970s to early '80s Philly soul sound. What a beautiful song... and a most lovely voice to deliver it.
Deniece Williams absolutely has some of the most beautiful vocals mankind will eva be blessed to hear... much like a song bird. When the "Greatest Female Artists/Vocalists" are discussed... she often forgotten, but she definitely has one of, if not the most beautiful "Melody" in musicianship.

The "My Melody" CD is one of my favorite Deniece Williams CD's.. In addition to this track, I loved "It's Your Conscience".. I play them constantly !!!
I totally agree with you gingerjenn... She has always been one of my favorite vocalists and I've never stopped listening ot her !!! She was truly underrated and gave us so many great songs !!!
Is this entire CD finally available domestically as a reasonably priced CD?
