Im glad that they kept Mike but i really think think they shouldve kept Jason cause he is way better than Drummond or Smith. Personally I do not see the big deal in the voice change. Of course they sound different but its something that you just need to get used to. I remember when they changed Ratchet's Voice from Ratchet&Clank and I was really pissed at Insomniac games for doing so. But then I got over it and now I don't even care anymore. I find it interesting that Jaleel White, one of the original Sonic cartoon VAs and, in my humble opinion, the best of the American Sonic's so far, hasn't been begged to return while Ryan Drummond, who was ok but not this "GODCHILD DESCENDING FROM ON HIGH TO VANQUISH ALL THE WORLD'S WOES" that people paint him out to be, is literally screamed and cried over.
Plus, really, compared to the Franchise's actual length, Sonic hasn't had a voice until relatively recently. Why is it such a big deal?

To promote the release the release of Marvel Ultimate Allaince 2 Stan Lee did an interview about how important voice acting is especially on DeadPool. Voice Acting is important coming from a guy like that.
I prefer Ryan for the sole purpose because he proved that he could voice. In an interview, he said he had to audition with many others and got the part. But Jason only got the part only because he is in 4Kids.
To me, I like Ryan because he earned it and dislike Jason because he simply just pushed Ryan aside and got the job handed to him. That's just not fair, really.

Sure, he was terrible in 06, Riders and Zero Gravity, but he was OK in Shadow, and I didn't have THAT much of a problem with him in Secret Rings. And he does sound a lot better in Unleashed. Yes. Jaleel White is awesome. I liked Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, despite all of its epic cheesiness. I haven't seen much of Sonic SatAM, but it looks pretty cool for a video game cartoon.

Jaleel White definitely did the best voice for Sonic. It was just way more expressive and cocky, like Sonic should be. It suited him perfectly. Drummond was okay as Sonic, but not perfect. Now I'll admit, Griffith is getting better. He was pretty good in Unleashed. But he still sucks pretty bad. Dan Green doesn't do a good Knuckles either. And Tails sounds like a girl because he's now voiced by a girl. I see a problem here.

Dan Green never did much of a good Knuckles voice i'll admit. But he is awesome as mephiles. Any other 4kids actor would have fucked up that role. only Dan Green can make 'Like a chicken comes from an egg' sound good! And silvers actor i think has potential, but hes not geting to use it because A) Silvers lines suck, B) Silvers character sucks, and C) The guy who plays silver who i forget the name of really dosn't try. And yes i accept Jason as the actor now. But if i could replace him i would.
That was just Sonic 1, 2 & CD I think, in AoStH Jaleel White voiced Sonic & was great. Sonic Adventure came out and Ryan did a great job as well. But then Griffith comes and fucks up the character. If they're not gonna get rid of 4Kids then the games might as well have no voices.

Though I do want Drummond back, I kinda like Griffith as Sonic's VA. Sure, he was terrible in 06, Riders and Zero Gravity, but he was OK in Shadow, and I didn't have THAT much of a problem with him in Secret Rings. And he does sound a lot better in Unleashed. As I said on the "war against fanboyism" rant, he's no Drummond, but he'll do.

The gameplays fine but DCEs ight. the games still fail cause they re not Drummond. Unleashed could have been better though. I feel emotion when wacthing the cutscenes Now i just dont cause of 4kids.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard "the gameplay is not important anymore" no the gameplay is always important, voice actors and graphics are main things that DON'T make a video game. Besides, the gameplay in Sonic games are still not that great, there are still alot of flaws.

Sonic Adventure had good gameplay So? Sonic Adventure 2 Had GREAT gameplay because it got better than the first time. There will be a better game than Unleashed and the gameplay will be fine. That was a start at good GP but good god! Dont act like its a problem besides Drummond made a statement about wanting to come back also.

Do you really think drummond will come back? FYI he would have came back o I don't know, 4 yrs ago. Besides, drummond was Sonic's "kid" voice and everyone including myself has just got use to Jason's voice. I'm not asking for the gameplay to be GODLY but there are still more important issues with it unlike a simple voice actor. Sega doesn't care about drummond or the fans, they care for profit...nothing more, nothing less

No were not used to Jasons voice because he is a mediocure actor and Drummond made a recent statement which is something you have trouble undertanding. Im not going to argue but he has his kid. He even left a new statement. Jinichi Kanemaru is Sonics kid voice. Theres NO OlderSonic. Jason sounds like hes trying to express a diff voice with each character but they all sound close. He sucks less but than again Drummond left a statement on wikipedia and his website. Try reading it

Yes Jason in the begining was a mediocre voice actor but he is ACTUALLY GETTING BETTER as time goes on, its called practice. Besides tat SATBK is taking a new character and putting them in a new world. Yes. Jaleel White is awesome. I liked Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, despite all of its epic cheesiness. I haven't seen much of Sonic SatAM, but it looks pretty cool for a video game cartoon.

Jaleel White definitely did the best voice for Sonic. It was just way more expressive and cocky, like Sonic should be. It suited him perfectly. Drummond was okay as Sonic, but not perfect. Now I'll admit, Griffith is getting better. He was pretty good in Unleashed. But he still sucks pretty bad. Dan Green doesn't do a good Knuckles either. And Tails sounds like a girl because he's now voiced by a girl. I see a problem here.
But you are right, DCE. Blaze's voice is awesome.

Dan Green never did much of a good Knuckles voice i'll admit. But he is awesome as mephiles. Any other 4kids actor would have fucked up that role. only Dan Green can make 'Like a chicken comes from an egg' sound good! And silvers actor i think has potential, but hes not geting to use it because A) Silvers lines suck, B) Silvers character sucks, and C) The guy who plays silver who i forget the name of really dosn't try. And yes i accept Jason as the actor now. But if i could replace him i would.

That was just Sonic 1, 2 & CD I think, in AoStH Jaleel White voiced Sonic & was great. Sonic Adventure came out and Ryan did a great job as well. But then Griffith comes and fucks up the character. If they're not gonna get rid of 4Kids then the games might as well have no voices.
