The Republicans don't give a damn about the little man. The man who busts his ass 40-hours a week at the factory, only to make 40,000/year...they're all about "Reaganomics"...the trickle-down effect. Fu*k that bullshit. Hasn't worked since he proposed it and will never. McStain wants to continue the way of the Neo-Con and stay at war for another 100 years, even though we are spending like a woman at a mall with a platinum VISA. It's just not fucking right, and these pricks don't get it.
Who are you people? What part is Bashing Bush! Are you actually paying any attention!! Its not just Bush she speaks about its one element. He is in charge, why don't you people stop accusing others of Bashing bush and start voting or doing something with your wasting time. I love how you say you don't even like
Bush that a load of crap, then why do you care! You are ignorant if that is all you read into this question!!!!!!!
We are people who are a lot older than 22 and have seen and experienced life in a way a child like this can't fathom. We are also those who can read history (and have lived a good portion of it) and don't rely on CNN and NPR for our entire world view.
And no, I don't like Bush. He likes to spend too much like a drunken sailor on social programs for which our federal government has no constitutional authority.
Who is we? You speak of we as you say she speaks of the US. CNN, NPR, Fox, CBS,NBC, ABC news are all propaganda. Try listening to the World News. Try traveling, try living outside of your very small as you say older box. A person can be 5 or 85 in age experience comes from openness to ideas. Einstein, Ghandi, Martin Luther King they all had wild ideas that have shaped our society and I'm sure they were young once so get over the age thing.
You asked the question, genius... You said, "Who are you people?" I'm telling you who "we" are.
I grow increasingly weary of all the 17-25 year-olds who think that they know it all because they read a book or took a class. They are still children and have no clue.
No, age in itself does not define experience. But age does mean you've had more time and opportunity to directly apprehend the various phases of life and the world around you. It therefore suggests our worldview most likely comprises a bigger "box" than those who are so young.
At 22, this girl is quite probably still in a hermetically sealed university environment (or recently graduated) where her Socialist and Marxist professors' ideas seem to answer all of society's ills. Doesn't work that way. Sorry.
Many of us were just as naive and simplistic as her (and you) once.
This isn't a legitimate question. Andrew Jackson consolidated more power than Bush would have ever dreamed of doing. Bill Clinton abused this power more than any president in recent times.
This is a bash-bush rant, not a legitimate question.
The executive branch will always preserve it's power no matter who is in office, every president takes an oath to do this when they are sworn in.
Except for the bash-bush rant and the not a legitimate question part.
There is truth to Jackson and Clinton was not a saint but Bush Jr. has lost the respect and honor of the United States mostly because of his abuse of power and lack of grace in office.
Yes he was the straw that broke the camels back but he has also built a very strong and corrupt administration. The Executive Branch is supposed to use their power to maintain a sense of balance not for the abuse of saving their own ass. Lets take a peek: Rumsfelt, Rove, Gonzalez and the list goes on. Bush is responsible for these men and the lack of balance.
That is the difference between the past presidents and this one. If he can't be accountable who is. Please tell me cause people get fired for less crimes and those people still aren't accountable for theirs.
I agree to an extent. It can be said that the Judicial and Legislative branches also seek to consolidate power, so it is actually a struggle between the branches. I guess that's how it is set up though. I don't really believe Bush abused any power. He got congressional approval for virtually everything including the war.

Glad to see the left's propaganda engine is doing it's magic... This is unquestionably a bash-Bush barb disguised as an innocent query.
I don't even like Bush that much but this gratuitous swipe made me roll my eyes.

I'm so glad you speak for the whole US... Wait, I don't remember telling you my opinion!
BTW, "Clinton was not a saint," has to be ranked as one of the most monumental understatements of all time!

It is a perfectly legitimate question. They could give the same answer that you just did if they wanted to.
