Nah no offense taken, I can respect ur thoughts. Your right, it isn't right to shoot people who surrender. In general though, yes, America does care very much for others and their security. After all that happend on D-day they were probably emotionally unstable and acted out of anger. The Nazi's didn't really show any mercy to them either, so I can't say I really blame them. Anyways though, I appreciate your insight, I'm an American myself, just my way of honoring the troops.

but u cant blame em, they were ordered to do it, some even declined to kill such people like that but they got shot. so others just listened orders but as they shot the americans, they knew they ended someone's life and ended their family.

Yeah, there really are many sides to it. I can't speak for what happened because I wasn't there. All I know is at that time that was the enemy, and also following orders, the us military and other allied forces did what they thought had to be done. Nobody deserves to die, war is horrible, and it's too bad mankind engages in them. At least now what's done is done and that whole mess is over with. Lets just hope that doesn't happen again...

That's a good question, I'm glad you asked. The reason I used a rock song was to try and show how badass and brave the u.s. soldiers were. The lyrics have a pretty deep meaning that I believe relates well to the war and the overall morality of the soldiers. It took me awhile to find the right song, but I believe this really showed how hardcore and determined the military really was. Never did intend to glorify any of their deaths, as they have my utmost respect. Thanks for watching.
