Wordon's Orginal Rooster Tails are my favorite all around lure. You can usually find them at Walmart...which is good....cause who doesn't have a Walmart nearby?

Firetiger w/ gold blade and white w/ silver blade are my favorite colors. I catch lots of panfish with the 1/32oz. We use them for catfish bait. More fun than catching them with bait worms. I've also caught (on 1/32 and larger sizes) large & small mouth bass, white bass, striped bass, crappie, chain pickerel, white & yellow perch.

Big fish or not so big, finding a nice honey hole is always good fun and makes for a satisfying trip. IMO anyways, catching a few smalls is better than none at all. Nice fishin, I really enjoy private ponds here in VA =)

hey every once and a while u should buy 12 shinners and a couple of worms and just throw them out there dont put any hoocks on them but just keep feeding the bass for like a year and they will start getting bigger..i have a pound like that in the back of my house and the bass are small but if you keep feeding them like we did they will get bigger...just a lil tip

we used to catch the in the mud in early spring, with a metal rod, just ease around the banks and poke your rod in the mud and hit the turtles. youll know cuz it sounds and feels hollow. we would always catch at least two.

My uncle told me that you need to wait 'til June to set your turtle hooks cause they lay eggs around May. He's old school country so he knows what he's talkin' about when it comes to these types of things.
