I never liked the Gallardo, because it looked like it was trying to be like its brother, the Murcielago, which is one of the greatest cars ever made. The Cala would have been an all time great if Lamborghini kept funding it, and instead of the Gallardo being future NFS games, it would be this. This can be a car if we started a campaign to replace the current car with this masterpiece, but Lamborghini is owned by Audi, and the car would be designed very differently. It will be different.

First time I saw it (in mid 90s), I'd say that Lamborghini should have something smaller than Diablo and needed to be in the lineup. But at last, this car kept us up for a decade and more until Gallardo unvieled.

Back when Need 4 Speed was a good franchise having super cars and not Civics with Neons and Torretto wannabes.

Thism the McLaren F1 and F50 were favourites of mine in NFS2. I always wondered if the Cala would make it into production and it didnt. Still the Gallardo is an impressive little brother to the Murcielago. And at some angles looks better IMO. Both are awesome cars though.

lamborghini was owned by chrysler but then chrysler sold it because it was doing bad. so then some private company bought lambo and they were going to make it but then lambo was sold to volkswagon and they decided to forget about it. the story is on wikipedia. look up cala
