@HimuraAnimator Some what, I mean you will get a different sound on each fret so depends on the sound you want. But you get that heavier ,chunky sound at the top of the neck.

@cardschaos uhhh there is no "wrong" with a cover dude, yeah maybe it's not 100% the same as they play it but IT IS A COVER. This is how I play it. I love how sooo many people think a cover has to be a note for note copy of the original. A cover is about making it your own too put your spin on it. I also hate when people judge and have nothing to show to back them up, where's your vid. Yes the way you pointed out is the way shaun plays it...show us how it's done if you can play it note for note.

@Botch34 Thanks man, it means harmonic on 5th fret. If not familiar look up harmonics. There are natural and pinch harmonics. This is a natural harmonic.

I assume you don't have a tuner? Get yourself a chromatic tuner, should be able to get one for like $10 (Korg). Not sure how by ear. I think you can put a capo on the 1st fret and then play one fret up...but not sure.

If you don't have a tuner..

Instead of tuning from the 5th fret, tune from the 6th (5th for G-B string) fret, which will get you in Eb standard. Then droptune the 6th string like you would normally

How would I play the harmonics?

you just very lightly touch the string right above the fret bar. Do a search for guitar harmonics lesson and you will see. It takes some practice.

Oh, and there are 2 kinds there a natural harmonics and pinch harmonics. Look them both up so you know the difference. For this song and most all seether songs they are natural harmonics. Hope this helps.

just some advice, i know the tabs are from the book, but something you may wanna do on the chorus, get rid of some of the open spots. for example, your playing it like; bum, ba bum ba bum ba bum, you should try playing it like, bum, ba bum bum, bum ba bum, bum, you see? try makin it sound like the album
