Actually it is. The are just using modulation techniques and some equipment to change the sound a little, but at the hear of it there is no instruments, no drum box, just voices.

They are 'bending' the rules by putting effects on the voices to make them sound like instruments, like compressing the percusion (for example).
Even if it wasn't fully acapella, It still sounds good, and thats all that matters; right?
