i saw some cooking show on the telly yday- it said that if prawns were "C" shaped, with the tail bit sticking straight at an angle thatthat stood for "cooked" and what he's done here is "O" shaped, i.e. overcooked. Can someone clarify this please? Cause im sure he won't overcook prawns on porpose????
@lMsoCOOL Actually the shape doesn't tell much. There are a wide variety of prawns, with different lengths. The only thing that gives you certitude is color and timing... Oh yeah, if you buy them frozen, make sure you defrost and dry wipe them.

Aioli by definition is an egg yolk and oil emulsion with garlic. What you've done is mix prepared mayo with lemon...looks good though.

that's not aioli - it's just a lemon-tarragon mayonnaise (Aioli is a garlic mayonnaise)
