@TheMuslimahSouljette -- If you read my article (see the link bellow the video), you will see that I quote Muhammad on this, too. That's exactly why this habit is still prevalent mostly in Muslim countries. Still, the western influence has watered down the use of Arak and even many instructions on using it, which I found on the internet and elsewhere, were mostly inacurate. All nations in the world used it in the old times: Aborigines, American natives, Indians, Greek, Romans etc.

Najboljši je kar jesen, navadno ga najdeš povsod po Sloveniji, če ne leska, gaber, jerebika ali kar domača živa meja (liguster -- še boljši je divji), spomladi sta fajn tudi breza in vrba, pozimi navadno glih ne. Najboljše so 2-3 leta stare rastline, ki pogosto poženejo kar v šopih do meter ali meter pa pol naravnost iz tal in so ravno prave debeline.
