@TheRollingPunk That is just Nintendo and GameFreak's way though. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the remakes, but they should take as much time thais needed to make them great. People are just used to consistency is all.

Not to mention that with about two or three handheld remakes (I'm not sure on that, sorry) that don't have a gameboy port, it is hard for some people to play those games again.

@mikel15858 Apparently they were supposed to be a few years older than the others (previously it was canon that all of the player trainers were 10) Before Black and White came out it was said somewhere that they were somewhere in their early Teens, but I don't remember if that was ever confirmed or not. They do look older for sure.

Watching the opening cinematic of a pokemon game has been a tradition and rule of thumb for me since I played my very first game. They usually didn't serve any purpose but to tease you for the game, but they always had such nice music and such a different style than the actual game that they were worth watching.

Sometimes I would go back and re watch them if I got bored.
