i went last weekend, and got to walk through the Actual Training mod that the NASA guys used to get ready to go to the INT space Station, it was so fucking cool

You can take lessons at pretty much any age, except you wont be able to fly solo till your 16 around 10 hours into your training! you need to be 17 before you can take your private pilots licence test, 18 for your commercial pilots licence to be issued and 21 before you can qualify for an air transport pilots licence.

you can get flight lessons at any age ( as long as you can reach the controls).
