the 18-200 is the worst lens you can get. Buy the 15-85 or a sigma 18-125 price is the same, value much better!

Just got mine last week. I love it. I examined all the write-ups and the closest was the Nikon D90. I just had to hold both in my hands and my mind was made up instantly. The Canon is more solid, more professional looking and the features are what I was looking for. Take your time and learn all the functions. This is a great camera. Now it is up to you to use your eyes and creativity to make the most out of it! Yours truly, Vince Ravon.

I'm so glad to hear that. I was afraid to make the wrong choice after I read many forums/blogs/reviews/etc... I bought 50D last October. it's the right one for me... a dream camera. Expensive and Tad heavy but who cares. hehe. Still learning and taking pictures ever since! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Man i got the 50d about a month ago, when you pull it out of the box , you are just in awe of it quality, nice and heavy.

great fitting awesome build quality, absolutely STUNNING photos, and 6.3fps which is mint!

d300 is an awesome camera but so not worth the amount more, even tho its quality is comparable with the 50d.

40d and 50d are best but just you. Just keep reading many many blogs, forums, reviews and so on then you will choose which one you like.  I can't way or which one best for you. I am not you, you know.. I don't know what your taste, etc.. hehe

I GOT MY 40D!!!!! It is the BOMB! 799 euros was the cheapest i could get it for here in Ireland. Expensive but worth it for the amazing features on this great camera....so excited!

Hey 64s great news that you got your camera. I am still having fun with my 40D but i have SO MUCH TO LEARN! and i found out that it is an expensive hobby. After the camera i had to get a Bag, Tripod, UV Filter,lens cloth, card reader, photoshop,shutter release and now i need ND Filters and holder to stop my skies burning out. Also want more lenses!! 50mm 1.4, 70-200mm 2.8 and a 24-70mm 2.8 would be nice!! one more thing i need...... A LOTTERY WIN!!!!! How are you getting on?

Hey 64s, I had a wee problem with my camera recently, had to send it to England for two weeks to be fixed. I live in Ireland and there are no Canon store who can fix it so have to send it to England.There was dust getting in my lens and err99 had appeared a few times. I post some photos on my facebook page but with my camera gone i am very unhappy with canon to be honest.

The text on the box says EF-S 18-200mm but you picks up an EF-S 17-85mm lens... strange.
