I might upload the color versions from the graphic novels soon. Sure, it's not quite the same, but gives it a better perception since many TMNT fans aren't used to B&W comics. But only in the bvery beginning you can have such a thing with Shredder dying in the first issue. For properties intended to go on for years, such as the cartoon series and the current IDW series, it is not wise to have the main villain get killed instantly (6 issues into IDW, there's no Shredder mention even!)

Wow, I didn't know that someone uploaded these old comics. My thanks to you, master Orochiflamez, that I now got the chance to read the very first turtle comic ever. Why didn't they make a movie made from this? And considering what I've heard, Shredder wasn't that easy to defeat. But still good stuff.

@movienaut well you have to remember that the original cartoon series was kid-friendly, and the comic was way too dark in comparison to that, but the first movie kept a lot of elements from the comics, and you'll see when you keep reading my uploads.

This is my 1st time seeing a Mirage TMNT comic.

There needs to be either a new TV series or possibly a (up to between 3 and 6) movie saga that's dark and very violent like these comics.

Now that TMNT is owned by Nickelodeon, that will most likely never be.

I wait to see what 2012 has in store for us.

The style,the attitude,the fights.....no wonder the Ninja Turtles went from comic books to mass media. This was a really well done comic book. No wonder Johnen Vasquez found such inspiration from this series.
