Im a student pilot and Ive been training in the Flight Design CTLS.Today I thought it would be neat to try a different airplane.I went up in a Cessna 172.Let me tell you,I cant wait for my next lesson so I can get back into my baby,the CTLS.Love the CTLS.The CTLS has awesome visibility and is really a lot of fun to fly.I has spoiled me to the extent that I didnt enjoy flying the Cessna today.

I fly a Jabiru 170 regularly which I really like and I flew a CTLS once recently and now this is all I want to buy now. Carbon fiber planes are so sweet!

Nice plane. for the money however you can just get a really really nice C-177 or for much less money a pristine C-150/152 and have $ left for years of fuel and maintenance. That'd be the way to go.

LSA in the US is really just for old dudes who let their medicals expire.

The plane is awesome, I have quite a few hours on the CT2K...

The thing is the throttle is very STIFF, the only problem with all CT's

The CT I fly doesn't have a STIFF throttle at all, sounds like you got a weak wrist LOL

The Flight Design CTLS is a fantastic aircraft for sure. I've flown >150 hours in a 2005 CTSW, and the CTLS is even better: composite gear, better visibility, stability, comfort. I hope to own one soon.
