The CIA, Crack Cocaine and the Black Community

In case no one has noticed, black and white folks have some differences (though not many). It is a fact that more whithe folk will have wine with dinner as opposed to black folk. Also, more black folks will use pepper sauce with their dinners. More hispanics will eat mexican food as opposed to Italians. These are facts that I have researched and I'm ready to argue if necessary. The facts support the reality that as far as crack useres go, an equal percentage of whites & blacks are imprisoned.

I don't trust the government either, but one critical point escapes me. Who holds the blacks down and pours the drugs into them. Seems to me that unless there is complicity among blacks to be pre-disposed to doing illegal drugs and breaking the law, this elaborate scheme by the CIA wouldn't work.

@edrhathaway, I'm in total agreement with that critical point you raised, because I'm quite sure that the overwhelming majority of the people who became crack addicted knew before hand what the results would be, and were not tricked nor forced into using it.

@edrhathaway, another point, however, is that the U.S. justice system is a lot harsher in penalizing the drug pusher/dealer over the addict. So, going by that standardized rule of penalizing, those who brought the drugs into our communities should not be let off the hook, and should be penalized more severely than the neighborhood dealers.

I have this book. It is a must read for every black person in this country. Thank u for referencing the other books and websites... knowledge is power. We cannot depend on this govnmnt or anyone else in this country. They have proven this time and time again. Time for us to go for self. Peace.
