This was surprisingly bad. It started out alright, but it just got progressively worse. This is not what I would consider professional quality, the heads are all off or overdone and the footwork gets sloppy and rushed at the end. Those pas de chats are awful. :/ Not impressed at all.

I am totally shocked by the responses to this video. This is one of the more perfect versions of 4 little swans. It is incredibly difficult and until you try it it would behoove one to consider the difficulty as well as the choreographer's options as to how to stage it.

rather, they need to come back to life so i can shoot them in the head.

The song is in a different key. Is it prerecorded music that's been slowed down? Anyway, their head movements were just a tiny bit off, but the dancers had excellent footwork. Well done, ladies!

Why do Asians want to do classical Western dance and music? I never understand it because despite its technical brilliance, their performance is often lacking a soul, as is the case here.

Snarkymom, I completely agree! Most Asian ballerinas are robotic with little to no expression and certainly no emotion in their dancing. It's like they are just going through the motions. This performance is horrid. Their height difference, wonky head movements in the beginning, and strange passe are just awful.

umm...just so you know Tchaikovsky was Russian, whose style was distinct from Western (namely German) style.. and Russia is also close to Asia just as much as Europe so pipe down! anyone can dance to whatever they want

I doubt that anyone watching this is not aware that the composer was Russian. However, we were commenting on the dance style, and not the musical style. Of course anyone can do whatever they want. The question is whether or not they do it well.
