This method is now days only used to repair damaged camshafts, isn't thar correct? Manufacturing is done by robots?! How did they do 50 years back? Any common methods? By grinding a pre-forged profile??
Only the one we are grinding is coated. On the first video we are copying the profile from unworn cam. It´s grinded on a "master cam" and the machine follows that.
