  • I'm from united high school and I play the tuba. We did play this show when I was a sophomore it was state year for us. I know this band is very good and all but united just played the show. We didnt have any fancy sound affects that scarred the crap out of everyone we played music. Nevertheless Ayala band is phenomenal we just didn't have money for the sound affects. We did make finals and placed 6th. we did have issues though. As in tunning in the woodwinds but that was r only problem that I

  • What state is the WBA finals held at? I'm from South Carolina Band Directors Association and have never heard of the WBA. But this band sounds like it could beat probably all but our first place 5A band (they were 11th place in the National Bands of America competition).

  • @byakugan03 Western Band Association is held in California. ^^

    Hope this helps =)

  • Look at all the shiny's. :P

  • Aquaphobia Visual. <3

  • Ya know, I still have your guys' 2005 show, along with the other top five at Long Beach finals. Really nice quality and angle. I just...haven't encoded them so I can put them up on youtube...

    Flutes, very nice projection. =D

  • How come in Metallophobia, there's an alto sax playing the music we cut out before the triplet halt? Maybe I'm hearing things.

  • Its not an alto sax ..its the keyboard. they has the same part as us but they were not cut out. It was in all the shows since we got cut out but it was on a low volume so i guess they put it a little higher for the final run. i wish they kept that part in i mean i think we could have fixed the timing issue!

  • How come.. in Metallophobia, there's an alto sax playing the part that we cut out before triplet halt? Or am I hearing things? x]

  • Keyboard didnt get cut from that, sounds like a sax lol.

  • danng that was awesome. <sarcasm>except i love how the guard jacked our style of opening with swing flags and our blue balls. </sarcasm>

  • I guess Mindy was recycling routines for our show and yours. x_x

  • the blue balls were used in 2002's fruition. so yeah. lots of instructors recycle things.
