I love this song. I love Equation. I have to say I really like Cara Dillon and Kate Rusby, but I think they were better as part of Equation, the same way Andre and Sharon Corr just do not sound as good outside of The Corrs. It is a tragedy that Equation failed, I think they could have reached a wider audience than either Cara or Kate do today. That said, they gave us three great albums, I just wish the people who made them could have gotten the fame they deserve.
Poor Seth - hes obviously GAGGING to be more in the spotlight of that video. His meloncholic dramatic glances to the camera are wasted, should be way more shots of him...
This is fabulous! It's great seeing Sam/Cara and Seth/Kathryn before they became couples. They looks so young.
I'm pretty sure that Sam is playing the guitar here and their brother Sean is playing the piano. I saw him in an interview with Seth recently and he looks very similar but has much darker eyes and a slightly stockier build whereas Sam is leaner.
What a terrific tune! Why this album wasn't released is beyond comprehension. This could easily have been The Corrs with added violin & tin whistle. Young Cara Dillon is a charming cutie. How on earth this video was discovered baffles me, but lucky for us it was... thanks jmcool14 and YouTube!
On a miserable, wet & windy Monday, this video cheered me up no-end and I can't stop smiling at sweet young Cara. I swear I could see her school satchel on the back of a door in that video. LOL Well spotted Steve, Dougie MacLean has his finger in this pie too, but the tempo has been increased five hundred fold. Thanks for posting this gem from the archives.
Wow! Thanks for this quality upload, and what a great find! I know so little about Equation. This sounds to be a folk-pop version of Dougie MacLean's "She Loves Me". The members certainly have gone on to great achievements, so the people at whose decision it was to "shelve" the album must feel pretty stupid by now. That's a lot of talent right there!
Thanks for sharing it. :)

Equation made three albums, not just one. Hazy Daze & The Lucky Few were the other two.

I would say its Sean on guitar and Sam on piano, as Seans hair goes curly when it's long, if I get the opportunity I'll ask him next week.

It is. Sean confirmed it last night.

After searching almost forever for a video of Equation i finally found this treasure, thanks so much for uploading this!
Omg, Cara is sweeter than ever, just like I expected. You`re right Elora, that`s Sam on guitar and Sean playing the piano, I think so, too, at least.
They really all look like they just got home from school, so funny. And really a very good cheer-up song. Well, Cara, who doesn`t love you anyway?
God bless you and your family
