Things have came along way from then to now, so yeah its fast. If you use logic when considering some cars would take 18secs to make a pass. You could give the keys of a 2011 5.0 GT to a 16 year old male, and turn him loose on the interstate then read about him being dead the next day.

you have the exhaust right as far as everything else i like to keep it kind of quite it helps to keep it a sleeper it looks the same but it is faster now. me and the warnotch will be out soon our cars have been down for a while and r almost done thanks to everyone that had positive things to say and to the rest we can line em up whenever.

@jeromechi1 Yeah a 3.8 is never going to hang with even a V6 camaro. You can fully build your motor and put almost 2000 into it and bolt ons and barely be making what a Stock GT will. I know I can outrun new V6 cars easily but I put down 268whp. Your car may make 170whp at the max. V6 Mustangs are for looks not speed. Sorry bro.

Yes I do believe the car had a turbo. But at the same time i'm saying yes of course a completely built v-8 has greater potential than a completely built v-6. Best I remember without looking again that car wasn't completely built. I'm sure with upgraded igniton. A built bottom end, good heads. and good cam. He would keep up with u.

When did TLs become 'fast?' My car had 303 bhp and 323 lb/ft stock and it ran even with GTs. That's 5.3L in a 3700 lb car. Ran 13.9 @ 101 bone stock from the dealership.

I have gone 13.8 and 13.9 with a completely stock mustang gt of this body style (99-04) and I mean STONE COLD STOCK. Thats a 10 year old mustang.
Your Acura may have the hp but doesnt have the low end torque. Torque wins races, HP sells cars.
