I had a dalmation molly female and a black molly male and they had babies and then the mother died =( most of the babies died too there are only three babies and there proud daddy in my tank now oh and 1 snail.

i went on vacation for a week and i have a 20 gal tank with 5 mollies in it and one fry survived!! he was as big as my thumb nail when got home (i took him out because i was scared hed get eaten)

Beautiful! My boyfriend and I have become 'hobby breeders' if you will, of these amazing fishies! We've birthed three sets of fry in the past few months- they're happy in their hospital tank with all the other little ones. Live bearer fish are awesome.

umm. my sister had some of those fish, almost excatly the same, and one of them got REALLY fat all of the sudden, "SHE" stayed like that for a while and the all of the sudden shes skinny again and we never saw ONE baby fish AT ALL!!! Whats up with that?????

what are the signs of a pregnant molly n how do u kno she's ready do give birth? iv got a silver molly, n u can see thru her skin near her bumhole n its quite dark, is that the same as the gravid spot for guppys?

yes that can be a sign and shes big and round unless you have a balloon molly.

-_- This is making me so jealous.. One of my fish gave birth and I was too busy worrying about a different pregnant fish to notice and they all got eaten.. and the other fish is still pregnant and its not having its babies!

I just got lucky when I walked up to the tank and saw baby fish and she was still having them so i made the vid for all to see.
