We are aCtually kind of luky I mean we have tornadoes in Ohio but not nearly as many as tornado ally and I no 1 of the coments said well there's not many people that se an f5 out there but ther still r and many people die out there evry yer and so if u think we hav a bad tornado just think about tornado ally who evry tornado season has over 400 tornadoes and that's only in tornado season
my best friend house was in this video and i was in it when it got hit - this blew my mind right noww cause i just found out that it was on here !!!!!!!
i live in willard and we are under a tornado right now in the basment on my iphone on ytoutube in a middle of a tornado :) and itrs kinda scary to see the houses and stuff go up :(
We were driving home from Toledo the night it happned. If we would of stayed at my uncles house for five more minutes, we would of been right in the middle of that tornado. I thanked the lord that we had just missed it but he had to take my cousin up to heaven with him. She was one of the 7 that lost her life. I miss her so much :'(
I was right underneath that tornado sleeping, It went over Lake Erie to Leamington Ontario Canada by time it got here it was 3 in the morning and lowered to a F2 but it was going up then down every 30 feet it hopped right over my house because nothing was wrecked at my house but my neighbors house was brutal
@nonames000 are u meaning that u were in the tornado? because if u were meaning that u were in the tornado i donnot believe that because it would of been on the news.
@97thrbanAirsoft Giant fucking tornadoes in the rural midwest are not as devastating as tornadoes in densely populated areas like the suburbs of Toledo. By the way, this was an EF4 that hit a populated area that resulted in deaths. You can have an EF5 Tornado in rural midwest and nobody is affected by it.
Never an F5 in Ohio? You might be to young, but in the super outbreak of 1974 a F5 killed 30 people in Xenia, OH which is east of Dayton! They are rare in these parts of Ohio, but they have happened!!
@josefmd Video of Xenia tornado taken by Bruce Boyd who picked up what I would guess was a super 8 camera and filmed that awesome tornado. He was only a teenager at the time.
We in northern ohio actually got "lucky". The tornado which killed 5 in woods county moved over lake erie, where it soon produced a tornado even stronger than the previous one, 25 miles northwest of Avon. A short time later a second storm formed the strongest tornado of the night, this time only 5 miles offshore of lake and ashtabula counties. They formed along the main low pressure area which moved across lake erie. Earlier in the day it was tracked to move over northern ohio. Just think..
I live in Millbury Ohio and we were rocked by an F4 during the middle of the night. Two missing people were found so the death toll is five instead of seven. Scary this thing was a half mile from my house and I slept through it!!!
i was staying up watching the radar late at night when some of those storms were spawning tornados in indiana. I didnt expect these storms to stay tornadic all the way through the night. a very rare occurance. 9 tornadoes in the state of ohio all during the night.
excellent video!..(.r.i.p. for all the killed people!...) nostradamus predicts huge thunderstorms in the future! wow! too bad...hug your loved ones every single day and tell them you love them!....("we're off to see the wizard! the wonderful wizard of oz!")/ @ armed patriot bunker caucasian suburbs of milwaukee
Just goes to show you that if you allow amateurs to cover major events, people end up dying and houses end up getting overturned. The moral of the story is to leave it to the experts.
Well American media has covered tsunamis, hurricanes in south east asia, and earth quakes in Haiti, so whats the big deal if they cover weather events in America?
@On3Thought yeah thats what i thought but now i wouldnt be so sure. with all of the oil spills, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, hurricanes, and tornadoes going on within a short time span, you better keep your eyes open.
I don't know either I should LIKE the video or not. If i like it, does it mean i like other people's houses been demolished by a natural disasters??? .....hurmmm
@bugsterster83 isn't it the current space weather that is going to cause more of these, nasa has a free c.d if you need to educate yourself, you can't think for yourself if you refuse to listen to all side's, not listening to all side's makes you a sheep still, just for the other side ! x
@racheljayne2404 tnx i am thankful for such a good opinion. But i got what i want with my comment, people like you are listening and writing about solar flares and maybe others wake up
Tornadoes occur throughout the world. I have reports here of tornadoes from Moscow, Peshawar (Pakistan), even Vienna. But they do occur most frequently in North America, and in particular in the central plains of the U.S. Something like 700 tornadoes a year occur in the U.S.; Australia, with 200, is a distant second.
@rapcity041 Roughly 90 percent of U.S. twisters occur in a 300-mile wide corridor extending from West Texas to Canada. That's because conditions there are ideal for tornado formation. First you get warm, moist surface winds blowing up from the Gulf of Mexico, while cool high-altitude winds blow over the tops of the Rockies. This situation is inherently unstable because cool air wants to sink while warm air wants to rise.
@rapcity041 However, for reasons we need not delve into here, the mountain air causes a temperature inversion, which prevents the warm surface air from rising. It's like clamping the lid on a pressure cooker. The surface weather systems build up a big head of steam until they break through the inversion, whereupon they shoot up to towering heights.
@rapcity041 This sets in motion the violent up- and downdrafts that lead, through circumstances still imperfectly understood, to the formation of more tornadoes than anywhere else in the world.
@racheljayne2404 take a look at youtube video watch?v=IznJ9yi4uD0 there is a spiral in the atmosphere. NBC said it was a russian rocket. Russia denied a rockettest. In Norway near to this place is another "Ionospheric research facility. If your searching for this you will find it also in government sites. So tell me why its not possible that tornados can be steared by haarp?
tornados can be made by haarp or geoengineering. Its the science for destroying the earth .... slowly but surely. Politics and science have to wake up! Money and power is the wrong way! Global warming was within the natural fluctuations and now its getting allredy colder wtf? Think yourself and wake up!
@bugsterster83 What a fucking moron ! I love the way people like you write these comments as if it's everyone else that's missing something except you. Go put on your tinfoil has before haarp steels you thoughts

@bugsterster83 i agree haarp may do some things but - tornados ? never heard that ever - the sun in the next few days will be sending solars storms - Look up NASA right now - they are holding confrences over this. The sun is what is controlling most of the weather . not man- though they sure try
