@jesusfish305 To be very honest with you, I don't know what it is. It actually appears to be *trinary*, but I never heard of such a thing before. Watch closely and you'll see that each cell is actually splitting in threes. If anyone knows anything about this, please do share.
@4LeaftClover Right you are. My apologies for the error, at the time I shot this video I wasn't aware of the different types of division in microbiology.
I've been wondering about that myself... whether some of the microbes might be hungry for some of the others... and it would seem just that sort of thing is happening on slide B5 which I haven't posted about till now. It has... da da dummmmm... AMOEBAS. *Weird* amoebas... with flagella... never seen anything like em and can't ID them from the 'Net, so far. I have the video sequences recorded, just have to build the final for posting. :-)
You know what this video needs though... it needs some Discovery Channel "Killer Tornadoes" electric guitar randomly going EeeeEEeeee wahhhhhhhhwooooooo eaeaaeeeaaaeeee wah-wah-wah-wah wahhhhhwooooo" lol. I think I can do that, actually haha, but I was pressed for time.
i wish to ask for the techniques for trapping the algae under the microscope, may i have your contact please.

Those are not cyanobacteria. They are chlorophytes or "green algae" More specifically I believe to be a Chlorella of some sort.

I'd really like to use this clip in my movie on blue green algae for uni. Is that ok with you?

I started thinking. Those cells need something to eat, perhaps they will turn on each other lol.

Cool Capture.
Mitosis--so cool. DNA replication, the seemingly pulling of oneself apart to form more, More MORE!!
Love it.
