I have difficulty finding the 3d optons. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I have the upgrade version, and prior to this had CS2?

"Could not complete the Test Layer command because the type layer uses a faux bold type."

At a standstill.. what is faux bold type?

@ThirdRomeAquilo You have enabled faux bold (a setting that fakes a bold style). You can switch it off in the character palette.

@QwikPredatorX1 that is be cause your graphic card does't support it or you haven´t activated in the preferencies CTRL+K
