Couple of years ago bought new American "Deluxe" Strat, I did have to pay it off did not have cash, and wow the dream guitar I have waited for. No dead spots, you hear every note and loud and the neck is so smooth and action so low feels so good. Big difference in the American and the "Deluxe" so if you can obtain one do it if your a serious musician. So there thanks for reading

Nothing feels as nice as a Fender...except maybe a woman. My 1983 reissue, '57 Stratocaster, is as sweet as any original 57'. That ain't no shit. But my Telecaster is a work horse that sounds as sweet as your ability allows. My first Fender was a 63' Duo Sonic when I was 10. Wish I still had it. Got ripped off.

@nicos808 A compound radius is a conical (cone) shaped fretboard. The idea is to keep a tighter radius in the area commonly used for rhythm and chording (more comfortable), while flattening the area used for bending and lead playing (less "fret-out").

Meaning when you bend a string up the finger board and the vibrating string chokes as it hits the frets in the middle of the finger board. Because the finger board is curved and the bridge saddle is a fixed point it "frets out"

@nicos808 A flatter radius helps eliminate those problems so I swap my necks for a flatter radius. Typically a straight 12" radius or a compound depending on my mood :) Hope my explanation helped. Thanks!
