EXACLY!!!!!! Ive had Tmobile for almost a year now but im gonna switch to a different company even if i gotta pay $200 to cut my 2 year contract. I CANNOT stay with them for 2 fuckin years, i just cant FUCK U T MOBILE

But I can tell you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it. I have worked for them for years... so no BS. I receive all emails to my blackberry so I can give quick response.
By the way, t-mobile customer service reps are not hired by T-Mobile themselves.... but by call centers that pay for clients like T-Mobile. Glad to say that Sitel, the crappy company I was hired by for this (the main customer service center for T-Mobile throughout the US) was sued and TANKED because of various unlawful actions such as not paying employees their overtime hours. And T-Mobile pulled the account from Sitel causing most Sitels to close in the US. JUSTICCCE

Seriously, FUCK TMOBILE. I buy a BRAND NEW PHONE and less than 1 week later every SMS I send has this "Failed" message. I can't tell if it sends or not because sometimes people respond,sometimes they don't. I call customer support and they tell me to "Power cycle my phone" and retry. I'm not shutting off my fucking phone every 10 minutes because you all have shitty service. I'm about to throw my phone through their window.
@GreatUsedCars its definately a network error. Tell them you have powercycled and that you need your connection reset on the network. If it continues, tell them that you need a manager and tell that manager that you have bought a new phone and that it is a network error confirmed that you need to have your call escalated to the next teir of support.
Let's get back at them. It costs them roughly 1-2 dollars a phone call minimum; if you can take up 5 mins of the representative's time that's about 7 bucks.

AMEN!! I'm SO SICK of tmobile. I bought the blackberry pearl, BIG mistake. I have had NUMEROUS problems and none of them were ever actually fixed. I constantly had to take out my battery and sim card.. sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I would pay 100-300 dollars a month, sometimes more and these fake a**holes don't have a clue to the service. I have my THIRD phone on the way, luckily it will be my LAST. Moving overseas and you can be assured I won't go back to them!!! Cheers!!

I have them a WEEK and already Ive had problems with 2 phones, texts not going through or being told I had to pay for text messaging when I asked for it when I signed up, The nokia 5610 phone that came without the My-faves capability and the having to pay 4.00 to get the ringback service cause they said it was a past due amount?? HELLO I paid 96.28 to get the service and still don't know what for, but stay tuned cell phone number 3 is on it's way!
It's all based on luck when you call. I called T-Mobile today and one idiot put me on hold and for some reason I accidentally got routed to this Tier 3 Tech Support and thank god that ACCIDENTALLY happened because I had a nice 2hr conversation with this lady and she knew more about cell technology than all the representatives from all the providers combined. It all is based on the representative. A lot of them unfortunately suck and should get a job flipping burgers.

I don't kno. T-Mobiles been gwed to me. They even gave me this loyalty plan thing where I get unlimited mins for $49.99 BUT!!! I just checced my balance not to long ago an it says I have a due balance of $356.34 which is due on the 25th hopefully it's a mix up. If not I'm raising hell.
They offer that plan to retain customers because everyone is getting smart and switching. Hopefully they take care of their mistake for you. Either way I would switch.

I only use my cell phone now b/c .after 2 years of paying a cell & a house phone that is taxed up the ying yang, I decided to cancel my home phone & just use my cell. I sit in my living room on the couch right next to a window & I have to wait to get a friggin' signal to call out & have missed calls if I have NO signal. I called complaining that I signed a contract & do my end(pay my bill) but what about theirs? What's their part?

they told me my phone would work in europe (i also had flexpay). like 3 different guys assured me it would work (which is the whole reason i switched from Unicel to Tmobile) and it DIDNT. cuz apparently, even if you load up your flex account you cant use it over seas!

I switched to T-Mobile from Crickett about a year ago, and I am VERY happy with my experience. I got so freakin tired of being nickeled and dimed by cricket I quite literally finally told them to fuck off!
Maybe its where you live, but around here I love my T-Mobile. I pay 40 bucks and I have 1000 minutes and free weekends, and I use my phone just as much as I did with Crickett and haven't even come close to using that up. Cricket can suck my fat dick!

A bad signal can happen, that's understandable, but that's not the only thing that the word "service" entails. Like what Dan said about his voicemail, he didn't get texts AT ALL (that's not just bag signal, if you lose signal, when you get a signal again then any texts sent to you arrive then) and the fact that they don't understand how phones work.

I have TMobile and I have a Sidekick, never had a problem!! One time I had problems that I could not hear the person who called me, called Sidekick dept, did troubleshooting, got my phone replaced, and no problem! If you live in a damn cave, or inside a damn basement, of course you are not going to have service!!
For starters do research on your phone before purchase! and if it f' up don't buy a second. just rule of thumb. SECOND try to go to a different company pass a credit check pay deposit of $1,000. I have had Suncom since they opened so many years ago.I never had any problems with them. Tmobile bought them out early in 08 & I have had problems with data loss [pics,text,etc] ever since!
T-mobile admitted they made a billing mistake. I had a confirmation number on my phone to prove I had changed my plan before the billing cycle. However, they said I had to bring the phone into a service center and physically show a representative the confirmation code.
What? Even though they had a record of sending me the confirmation code? They split the difference only giving me 50% credit, even though they admitted it was their fault. T-mobile sucks. Fuck T-mobile.

I used to work for T-Mobile, and let me tell you. They treat their employees as bad as customers. I worked for them for 4 years and they consitantly lowered my pay the longer I worked there. LESS pay the LONGER I worked there. My last year I was making about 500/month less than my first year. Sad. And yes I know from my experiences working their that they are also consistantly treating their customers worse also. They see only dollar signs not customers or employees as people.

Flexpay is where you prepay for a plan, and if you go over, you can buy prepaid cards to still have service. No contract, no deposit, no credit check.
funny thing is there is A credit check if you want a annual contract. Because flex pay has annual contracts and monthly. The monthly is the one with no credit check and contract, the annual is A two contract with credit checks and ETF's. You also dont need prepaid cards. You add money to your flex balance for overages .. you can do it with debit, credit, echeck and you just use *add to put the money on flex but thanks :) not that anyone asked what flexpay was

AMEN!! I'm SO SICK of tmobile. I bought the blackberry pearl, BIG mistake. I have had NUMEROUS problems and none of them were ever actually fixed. I constantly had to take out my battery and sim card.. sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I would pay 100-300 dollars a month, sometimes more and these fake a**holes don't have a clue to the service. I have my THIRD phone on the way, luckily it will be my LAST. Moving overseas and you can be assured I won't go back to them!!! Cheers!!

I have them a WEEK and already Ive had problems with 2 phones, texts not going through or being told I had to pay for text messaging when I asked for it when I signed up, The nokia 5610 phone that came without the My-faves capability and the having to pay 4.00 to get the ringback service cause they said it was a past due amount?? It's all based on luck when you call. I called T-Mobile today and one idiot put me on hold and for some reason I accidentally got routed to this Tier 3 Tech Support and thank god that ACCIDENTALLY happened because I had a nice 2hr conversation with this lady and she knew more about cell technology than all the representatives from all the providers combined. It all is based on the representative. A lot of them unfortunately suck and should get a job flipping burgers.

I hear ya. I say the same thing to t-mobile ALL the time. I only use my cell phone now b/c .after 2 years of paying a cell & a house phone that is taxed up the ying yang, I decided to cancel my home phone & just use my cell. I sit in my living room on the couch right next to a window & I have to wait to get a friggin' signal to call out & have missed calls if I have NO signal. dont get me wrong ive been with them for 6 years as well...their service really do SUCKS but the good thing is that I use my phone like a prepaid when i have Flexpay...you may encounter customer service who promise you this and that but not all of them...they are willing to give you courtesy monetary credits and minutes even if you are a bum but they are just like us..people who follow policy and doing their jobs...bottomline before switching to another carrier...STUDY & UNDERSTAND CONTRACT=)

they told me my phone would work in europe (i also had flexpay). like 3 different guys assured me it would work (which is the whole reason i switched from Unicel to Tmobile) and it DIDNT. cuz apparently, even if you load up your flex account you cant use it over seas!

I switched to T-Mobile from Crickett about a year ago, and I am VERY happy with my experience. I got so freakin tired of being nickeled and dimed by cricket I quite literally finally told them to fuck off!
Maybe its where you live, but around here I love my T-Mobile. I pay 40 bucks and I have 1000 minutes and free weekends, and I use my phone just as much as I did with Crickett and haven't even come close to using that up. Cricket can suck my fat dick!

T-mobile admitted they made a billing mistake. I had a confirmation number on my phone to prove I had changed my plan before the billing cycle. However, they said I had to bring the phone into a service center and physically show a representative the confirmation code.
What? Even though they had a record of sending me the confirmation code? They split the difference only giving me 50% credit, even though they admitted it was their fault. T-mobile sucks. Fuck T-mobile.

I used to work for T-Mobile, and let me tell you. They treat their employees as bad as customers. I worked for them for 4 years and they consitantly lowered my pay the longer I worked there. LESS pay the LONGER I worked there. My last year I was making about 500/month less than my first year. Sad. And yes I know from my experiences working their that they are also consistantly treating their customers worse also. They see only dollar signs not customers or employees as people.

Flexpay is where you prepay for a plan, and if you go over, you can buy prepaid cards to still have service. No contract, no deposit, no credit check.

funny thing is there is A credit check if you want a annual contract. Because flex pay has annual contracts and monthly. The monthly is the one with no credit check and contract, the annual is A two contract with credit checks and ETF's. You also dont need prepaid cards. You add money to your flex balance for overages .. you can do it with debit, credit, echeck and you just use *add to put the money on flex but thanks :) not that anyone asked what flexpay was

I have been with them for a year and can totally relate to EVERYTHING he said about the service. I hate T Mobile SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much that I broke my contract with them two days ago and am just waiting to get the endless collection notices that I will never pay.

you are so absolutely right about tmobile im serious.
i went in today to buy a new phone cause my contract finished. they decided to charge me twice as much as the price they had on display.
and i complained and said my contracts over, im renewing i get a "yes we know, but you still need to pay $250 for this sidekick"
"why? it says $150"
"because youre paying now"

when we went to atnt ( i have the Behold from t mobile) we were looking for a new phone. Atnt admitted that t mobile was much cheaper but the service is really bad
