I was playing veteran and just gave up right after that scene, when trying to destroy the 88's. I may have played that scene maybe 100 times without being able to go beyond the next checkpoint after destroying the first two. One is just literally showered with grenades... frustrating to the point of almost throwing the controller against the TV.

With the CoD games, I ALWAYS aim to beat it on Veteran. I beat them on the 360, and THIS, was the hardest stage.

I sold my 360 and now have to beat this AGAIN but on PS3 lol. I JUST got past the Flaks and OMG what a relief.

low on ammo? I discovered that shooting your own guys(As long as it isnt reznov or any story affiliated characters) gives you more ammo cause they drop their weapons. shoot all the the dudes you want to max out ammo.

You just have to used to a high sensitivity - 1-2 hours you'll be fine - and like the dude says below - makes you a far more effective killer on multi-player, especially when used with steady aim. This mission on veteran is HARD - harder than the plane mission on CoD4, still haven't managed to get past the 4th Flak 88, something always goes wrong, a grenade, someone sneaking up, literally comes down to patience and luck, which pisses me off

No no no, it goes bottom right, bottom left. After the tank blows up, grenade/gun down the enemies near the barricade on the right as well as further back near the right side of the short staircase. If cleared enough, you can dash into that bunker on the right that they keep pouring out of. From there there's only like, 4 guys guarding the gun right. After that there's only 4 guys guarding the last gun. Just keep low for the last two once you're out of the bunker.

There's a glitch at the end of this level, when the column collapses throw as many grenades as you can at where the flamethrower jumps out from and you will kill him. Chernov will fall down the stairs screaming, but with no burns or fire. When he lands at the bottom he bursts into flames briefly and then the scene continues as normal.. 0_o

Good video i loved this mission exemplified the anger of the russians, if you look up at the beginning you can see 2 hanged German troops and its kinda funny because the bodies have physics and they swing if you shoot them. This is located just above the artillery piece as you get dragged out of the subway station. Its not really funny but shows you that the russians had no mercy
