I barely remember the ps1 titles but I remember ac1 and MoA had the most awesome villain in any other mechgames...who could forget nineball?!

however Last Raven had more memorable characters than all other titles

I grew up on AC2, but tbh I just can't get enough of LR. The part generations were fantastically unrivaled and you could make beautiful and functional combinations.

The original PSone AC games, while ridiculous unbalanced in versus mode-- were so fucking fun to play. However, I always felt "story mode" wise, AC2 just had the sickest story.

Armored core 4 was okay, 4A was way better, but ultimatly, nothing has compared with how much fun the original PS1 Armored Cores were, when those of us who started on the first game first piloted their first ACs.
