Use your head-why would (if they were planes) stop flying when rain/snow? Flightaware commercial flights haven't changed (we can still spot 'em/HEAR them), neither did Lifeflight helis because of rain, yet I and others (who verify these aren't on radar) have noticed less orange/amber UFOs unless area has no rain predicted?

they move generally less than 200 mph on appronch, wich is the 6-8 min(aprox.), for the "bright hovering light" to be close enough to start to veer of a bit and seem to "just start to move".

The solid light that seems to hover is the landing lights of a plane coming toward the camera (probably on approach to Allegheny County Airport or Pittsburgh International Airport), then it turns so you see its blinking nav lights. Also after the plane turns, its motion can be seen.
...and they ARE located in the landing patterns for planes heading west to runway 28 at both of the airports I mentioned.
View this through a night vision scope, and it would seem extremely bright.

Well, I did on the 16th. No mini-suns presented because I was too close, so they did their other trick--the blinkie, twinkle small sphere--clear like a bubble, but with some small internal light source that gets bigger as they change. It takes longer for them to change, but end result is the same. Freaked me out a bit, to see them do that. Is so bizarre, I hesitate to put it on, because NOTHING shows between flashes even at 100 feet away (on cam that is, NV can see them when held to eyes).
Yeah, I'd LOVE to get publicity and make them prove real craft with RADAR report--which they won't be able to. With my pointer sold legally in stores because it's so weak. I WOULD cause a big stink and get it shown nation-wide that these don't show on radar! They're smart enough to know that would happen, that's why they're using the defaming/harassing method instead--like they did to try and stop Dr. Greer. the media runs the odd program on ufos, usually it badly put together ( i think the 'UFO hunters' are entertainers and not serious about research, they actually had a rational scientist but he left after the first series or so ) , they seem to only report mass sightings, even if theres no videos. essentially they ignore the subject, probably because the channels don't want to show reports on it.

Why is there only one person getting this footage. If it was me, I have at least one or two friends catching the same exact footage from different locations. And I'd like to see another channel with someone saying, "I'm about 200 yards from Alison and this is what we're seeing." Coming from one source is a little suspect. Great footage though. The 'UFOs' are airplanes coming in to land. Shining lasers at them is dangerous and criminal - and yes, the beams do reach the cockpit. This video has been cited on a pilots' website - and the posters of this are complete ****wits.

No, I wouldn't say. That airplane is coming at the camera from maybe 20 or 30 miles out, head on, at a relatively low airspeed and at an angle of gradual descent . Nothing is 'hovering' - that's an illusion all those familiar with watching aircraft know very well. I'm not a UFO sceptic - I've had a sighting and it affected me greatly. Some of these replies boggle the mind but I can only conclude that they are not from the good ole USA. In this country there is a federal law that makes it a crime to point any laser pointer at any aircraft. The lasers have been known to blind pilots especially the green ones which have a stronger beam and longer distance apeture. The behavior on this video is purely reckless and against the law and for people to just brush hit off amazes me. My advice to the poster is to stop the laser zapping.

Handheld laserpointers are HARMLESS and can barely be seen at more than 1 km distance.
Only strong lasers can damage your eyes if pointed at close range! And that is with long exposure,not just a flash!
Good pointers even have UV / IV filter so are harmless to the eyes.

DID YOU NOT SEE IT HOVER IN ONE PLACE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES? (not to mention the extra time it took to screw on NV scope & focus it in between shots).
.... And yet, your closed-mind STILL lets you believe it was a plane... (sigh). No wonder our country is crap right now.
I know I'm wasting electrons here because you're going to believe what you want to believe regardless of what I say. But for others here, there are a few facts to consider:
- "ONLY 500 feet away" Determined how? Visual estimation of distance is notoriously unreliable, especially when the size of an object is unknown. How long does it take to walk 500 feet through the woods to find out? About three minutes, much less time than you claim the lights were visible.
And if you're afraid to get closer, at least get a pair of $2.00 compasses and triangulate the stupid thing.
- "HOVER IN ONE PLACE" It's called "Continuous Descent Approach". It has become a common practice because it saves fuel. If you project a line from the plane's path it will intersect the ground at some point. And if you just happen to be standing at that point, it will appear to be standing still.
You might ask, "then why doesn't it appear to be getting closer". Simple geometry. The angular size of an approaching object increases very slowly until the object is very close (think of the graph of the tangent of an angle). And I notice that after you have been watching the object for a while it suddenly "seems to be getting closer". Perfectly consistent with an approaching aircraft executing a CDA.
Then, as the object approached and turned to the right, the strobe light became visible. Couldn't see the color because of the night-vision, but I'm betting it was red. Again, perfectly consistent with an aircraft approaching for landing.
Next, the nearby trees a few 10's of feet from the camera seemed to be perfectly in focus. So naturally, landing lights from an aircraft 5-10 _miles_ away would be grossly out of focus, producing the "orb" illusion just like in your video, and many others
...producing the "orb" illusion just like in your video, and which many others have already tried to explain to you that this is a common visual illusion that occurs in the camera's lenses.
Now, what were you saying about observational skills?
- "SHOW RADAR TRACKS" I accept the challenge. Please post the location you were filming from (lat/long ideally, or a nearby street address), roughly what direction you were facing, and the time and date of the filming.

AND, the cheap ass laser from Office Max is soooo weak, it didn't even make it past the UFO that's only 4-500 feet AWAY, ding-bat. What do you think--I have a high-powered weapon or something? Or, do you think a "Plane" would be hovering in place for several minutes in someone's back yard SILENTLY? WTF is WRONG with people's BRAINS these days? Chem trails over you much?
Pilots have been temporarily blinded by having lasers pointed at them, and it usually occurs during the single most dangerous part of any flight -- landing (often defined as "a controlled, mid-air collision with a planet"). Would you want to be on a flight to which that happened?
And if you choose to ignore this and continue your reckless disregard for the lives and safety of others, I hope that you are quickly apprehended and suffer the appropriate consequences.
If you choose to IGNORE THAT UFOs are regularly flying around EARTH by choosing to IGNORE the several THOUSANDS of just Orange UFOs being reported in 2 years, then it will be YOUR MIND that will suffer the consequences of denying it.

This is dangerous activity. If you do not know what this object is then why dabble with federal law violations? On the off chance that this is not unearthly then why would anyone zap this thing with a laser? Use your head-why would (if they were planes) stop flying when rain/snow? Flightaware commercial flights haven't changed (we can still spot 'em/HEAR them), neither did Lifeflight helis because of rain, yet I and others (who verify these aren't on radar) have noticed less orange/amber UFOs unless area has no rain predicted?

they move generally less than 200 mph on appronch, wich is the 6-8 min(aprox.), for the "bright hovering light" to be close enough to start to veer of a bit and seem to "just start to move".
and , well, I know ya know what I think.
Maybe there IS SOMETHING ELSE out there too, but those were absolutely, REAL planes.

The location of the radio tower seen later at the far left does seem to confirm that you were looking SSW, though. This means that "light" turned WEST at the end, not EAST. The solid light that seems to hover is the landing lights of a plane coming toward the camera (probably on approach to Allegheny County Airport or Pittsburgh International Airport), then it turns so you see its blinking nav lights. Also after the plane turns, its motion can be seen.
...and they ARE located in the landing patterns for planes heading west to runway 28 at both of the airports I mentioned.
View this through a night vision scope, and it would seem extremely bright.

Well, I did on the 16th. No mini-suns presented because I was too close, so they did their other trick--the blinkie, twinkle small sphere--clear like a bubble, but with some small internal light source that gets bigger as they change. It takes longer for them to change, but end result is the same. Freaked me out a bit, to see them do that. Is so bizarre, I hesitate to put it on, because NOTHING shows between flashes even at 100 feet away (on cam that is, NV can see them when held to eyes).

Yeah, I'd LOVE to get publicity and make them prove real craft with RADAR report--which they won't be able to. With my pointer sold legally in stores because it's so weak. I WOULD cause a big stink and get it shown nation-wide that these don't show on radar! They're smart enough to know that would happen, that's why they're using the defaming/harassing method instead--like they did to try and stop Dr. Greer. They even offered him MONEY to shut up after all other methods failed.

the media runs the odd program on ufos, usually it badly put together ( i think the 'UFO hunters' are entertainers and not serious about research, they actually had a rational scientist but he left after the first series or so ) , they seem to only report mass sightings, even if theres no videos. essentially they ignore the subject, probably because the channels don't want to show reports on it.
If they showed even half the good evidence, it would become accepted.

Kissmytwinkys has shown us what we are in fact looking at. She has revised her new video, not to attack Alison per se, but to show people what they are really viewing through a Generation III NVG. You have understand the dynamics of the camera in that it deviates from from normal depth perception. It has been scientifically proven. Because of the artifacts of the GIII NVGs the U.S. army are now using WHITE LIGHT lens so that the haloing does not compromise their viewing.

Upon further review of the evidence I have discovered that the poster of this video is basically in denial and is endangering the welfare in her area. Her response to my advice about ceasing the laser zappings caught me totally off guard. She basically said since the government can't prove that she is zapping airplanes that her actions are basically ok. I am just in shock at her unprofessional behavior. Does it not behoove her to be cautious win these matters? She could be blinding our pilots.

No, I wouldn't say. That airplane is coming at the camera from maybe 20 or 30 miles out, head on, at a relatively low airspeed and at an angle of gradual descent . Nothing is 'hovering' - that's an illusion all those familiar with watching aircraft know very well. I'm not a UFO sceptic - I've had a sighting and it affected me greatly. Alison, I beg you to stop endangering aircraft and putting yourself in danger of a long prison term!

Some of these replies boggle the mind but I can only conclude that they are not from the good ole USA. In this country there is a federal law that makes it a crime to point any laser pointer at any aircraft. The lasers have been known to blind pilots especially the green ones which have a stronger beam and longer distance apeture. The behavior on this video is purely reckless and against the law and for people to just brush hit off amazes me. My advice to the poster is to stop the laser zapping.

I wonder why so many people worry about the Laser Pointer!
Handheld laserpointers are HARMLESS and can barely be seen at more than 1 km distance.
Only strong lasers can damage your eyes if pointed at close range! And that is with long exposure,not just a flash!
Good pointers even have UV / IV filter so are harmless to the eyes.
Don't know what american law says about it but, I would like to see someone prove they can shoot down a bird with a handheld laser!!! :) Ignorants NICE video! again...

I know I'm wasting electrons here because you're going to believe what you want to believe regardless of what I say. But for others here, there are a few facts to consider:
- "ONLY 500 feet away" Determined how? Visual estimation of distance is notoriously unreliable, especially when the size of an object is unknown. How long does it take to walk 500 feet through the woods to find out? About three minutes, much less time than you claim the lights were visible.

- "HOVER IN ONE PLACE" It's called "Continuous Descent Approach". It has become a common practice because it saves fuel. If you project a line from the plane's path it will intersect the ground at some point. And if you just happen to be standing at that point, it will appear to be standing still.

You might ask, "then why doesn't it appear to be getting closer". Simple geometry. The angular size of an approaching object increases very slowly until the object is very close (think of the graph of the tangent of an angle). And I notice that after you have been watching the object for a while it suddenly "seems to be getting closer". Perfectly consistent with an approaching aircraft executing a CDA.

Then, as the object approached and turned to the right, the strobe light became visible. Couldn't see the color because of the night-vision, but I'm betting it was red. Again, perfectly consistent with an aircraft approaching for landing.
Next, the nearby trees a few 10's of feet from the camera seemed to be perfectly in focus. So naturally, landing lights from an aircraft 5-10 _miles_ away would be grossly out of focus, producing the "orb" illusion just like in your video, and many others

Pilots have been temporarily blinded by having lasers pointed at them, and it usually occurs during the single most dangerous part of any flight -- landing (often defined as "a controlled, mid-air collision with a planet"). Would you want to be on a flight to which that happened?
And if you choose to ignore this and continue your reckless disregard for the lives and safety of others, I hope that you are quickly apprehended and suffer the appropriate consequences.
