you were in battle stance you switched to berserker?? in prot stance use charge the concision blow then sunder them then shield wall and revenge and shield slam then use final move to stun them again and put up the other defensive move that reduces damage by 60% and keep sundering them and shield slamming and use revenge when available

i think best warrior is a Draniae prot with Racial Heal+Enraged regen comibed with last stand and shieldwall equals 75% heath regen when done and can be combines with Lifeblood from Herbalism and when used in PVP its un beatable when holding a base HAR HAR HAR

In this video, I honestly couldn't tell you. It was from some near-70 instance, I remember killing a Deamon for it.

Later on I got the Shield Of Impenetrable Darkness from Kara, and now I'm using some random shield from a WotLK quest (have yet to reach 80).

i also have a prot warrior and Revenge becomes available to you alot more than you think plus with the 50% chance to stun its worth it to be in Defensive stance, today i was testing out Prot PvP, and i was duelling a buddy of mine, very skilled Forry warrior and i won every time without dropping below 50% health on any of the duels

When I played, I found Battle much more effect - but I haven't played in a LONG time, and apparently that's changed.

Still, unless they've change Revenge a lot, blocks don't (or didn't) come frequent enough for the skill to be of much use.

I would definitely say defensive. In Battle, you can use hamstring but with Defensive you can use charge in combat, and Revenge is a lot better than Overpower. Thats what I've found so far and I always use Defensive. It helps.

our main tank leveled from 10-70 as prot. PvPed as prot and did dailys as prot (16k unbuffed health, took ALOT of guards to kill him.) and also farmed BRD for enchanting mats as prot. He's a madman.

Noob prot warrior here, whats Mitigation and how do i get that, and how does it work for tanking? I understand Dodge, Parry, Block but not Mitigation. I need to know before I get my warrior tanking in outlands.

Mitigation is the combination of your armor, dodge, parry, and block. In other words, just how good you are at not taking damage. So, to increase mitigation just increase those criteria.

just follow the definition of the word mitigation. lets say that you have armor that reduces the physical damage u take by 50%. it gives 50% mitigation. btw gazivuli dodge and parry is avoidance, not mitigation. (i might be wrong tho, but i think its like i said)

I stay in those two stances because defensive stance does diddly squat in PvP. While it can be useful in certain situations, the amount of mitigation does not stack up too the damage lost. Also, no hamstring. And you can clearly see Shield Smash on my taskbar.

hey we have about same armor more attacks and all you have is Lascerate and Taunt to keep agroe we have taunt revenge sunder armor... who wins there.... in PVE you guys can't do shit but taunt and lascerate.... we also have shield slam heroic strike rend and stuff like that... while you still have lascerate maul mangle.. you can't use pots when you need them either not in bear form, you can't use items such as healthstone either

rofl... how the hell can you stun lock with a prot warrior? In order to do revenge you must have a 1h and shield, if you can kill a player or mob(elite) in under 4 secs with a 1h then nurf warriors, even with ConBlw you wouldnt have enough time to kill. and the revenge/conblw/intercept/reven­ge wouldnt work because the player/mob would become immune to stun due to the stun being applied to many times, even if becoming immune to stun wasnt a facter, it still wouldnt work.

wrong... revenge 4 seconds concussion blow 4 seconds intercept like 2 seconds then about another 2 second stun with revenge, thus the fact that he doesn't become immune unless you use revenge spam and then you stun him so much to hte point where its immune, about a 12 second stun.... then if it's a caster use shield bash for a silence... i have this all sorted out...

Well true, but how is stun lock possible if he really is stun locked? Revenge recquires block, you cant block a stuned target. Even if you manage to somehow stun lock and block, the 15% chance of stuning (Idk if its 15% usless talent at 70 imo)and the fact of trinketing, plus why is the target runing? Even with a 12 sec stun, it would be extremely hard, most likely impossible, to stun lock... with a 1h.

umm, actually i have about a 26% dodge, 25.something% parry 26% block... + if i were to sneak in a redoubt it'd be 100%+ chance to block.... 75+26=101... therefor instant block first attack and i thought it was and i never said kill them while stunlocked---i just said druids can't stunlock, it's hard to kill them but it's pretty fun to do still... and revenge seems to proc hella lot more that 15% i could use it 3x in a row having 2 people attack me at one point, and they didn't become immune odd

The whole reson I started this argument was because stun lock means to kill the enemy while stuned. Plus druids main aggro holder is mangle, not only does it create huge amount of aggro on hit but it adds on to the threat lacerate creates each tick, plus maul has threat within its own attack, plus the abbilty to add threat to lacerate.

Aye, Revenge stun could be useful for PvP, but doing so would mean switching constantly to Defensive Stance (or simply staying in the stance, which, to my experience, is not a good thing) and giving away points for tanking.

While Revenge stun is okay for some five man tanking, it's near useless in anything else - as nothing can be stunned.
