hi im jon.im 15 years old and work with all differents kinds of reptiles everyday.i have a lot of knowlege. And work part time with my aunt at her reptile shop she is a vet and im sure to be next
we are located in staten island ny and i am proud to be here sharing my knowlege.i have dealt with tegus moniters leopard geckos golden geckos water dragons basikils collared lizards and much much much more!if you need help send me a message. ...
i caught a baby today, yesterday i set a snare infront of a hole in the sidewalk at our school. There is a male and a female at the school that i have been trying to catch since football, i felt bad because he was tangled up in the fence and cut his tail off near the end, and no it didnt fall off it got cut, but my bro is herpetologist or however you spell it, and he said it will live, so im keeping it, ill post a vid soon.
I had Collareds for years. They're incredibly beautiful and good natured. They LOVE to run and if you let them run around the house you'll see them run on their hind legs when they build up enough speed!
oh shit, what a fuck small tank... do you want to live in such a litte box... these lizards lives in deserts, on rocks. and they are runner and climber... it's impossible there.
how big do these things get cause i have a bearded dragon and i can go catch one of these lizards but not really its a great basin collered lizard so yeah
I had a Collared lizard as pet when I was younger. Caught him on my 1st trip to Arizona.....a magnificent animal!! Unfortunately, I cared for him for around a year....and he slowly became sicker and sicker in capitvity.....finally he wouldn't eat and later died. Now, I'm not saying you will do this to yours.....I was young an inexperienced. I just would rather enjoy these guys in the wild. Will you ever release yours?
No Nfiret, these guys were bought online and CB so I can't let them go here in West Virginia. We've had them for over 6 months and they are doing great and will lay eggs soon.. They are really neat to sit and watch though..
Your male looks just like mine! Just less speckles and more spots.
