Well for one thing, the sweeps at the end of the solo are harmonized, so even Kris can't make it sound perfect live. Secondly, the solo is rather difficult. Cut em some slack.

Of course its a harmony, Kris always does that, on almost all his solos.

Its harmonized a minor third, but too my ear the DM and EM sit higher in the mix than the Bm and C#m, so I'm fairly certain thats whats Kris would play live.

I have a feeling they wanted to start giggin again as soon as possible once they added Lonestar, so they probz just split the solos up, which is a shame, because while Lonestar isn't nearly as good as Kris, he can at least do the leads credit, whereas Mike cannot. Seeing them in March though, so I wonder if Lonestar will take on more of the leads (Hoping so, lol)

Something you have to reallize is that alot of the time it's too hard to replicate the studio sound you have live. I've seen Darkest Hour and Children Of Bodom and both bands have trouble with it. They both play live guitars with regular distortion, it's just the fact that they don't have a million supression pedals and effects on the guitar while he's playing live.
