Thanks for this video! How does the 10 x 46 cross country model perform in deep powder? Is it enough flotation to go on longer day trips in the deep stuff? I was considering the 10x56 Alaskan model but am worried about maneuverability.

Good snowshoes! They look like the 10x46 cross country model? I own a pair of 10x56 Alaskan Iversons and I love them. I've used both wood and aluminum, and I prefer wood. I love breaking trail in deep powder and wood shoes float better, track better, and just feel better. snow tends to pile on top of the solid decks of metal shoes and when the snow is wet and sticky, it sticks to them and adds up to pounds of extra weight. Iversons are made in Shingleton, MI about 4 hours from my house.
