Tippett Studio produced this 3D animated commercial with directors Encyclopedia Pictura for Ghost Robot. The spot was for the evolutionary RPG game SPORE from Electronic Arts.

I'm slightly confused this is spore right? Some sort of unreasonably low key ad campaign? Or a tribute?

@vista777 This was an original trailer for Spore, which was short lived because Maxis realized that the game would look NOTHING like this. Which it doesn't.

@UberDispencer I also heard when the trailer was scrapped, it was basically done for good until the creators decided to finish it so all of us can see it. I'm glad that they decided to finish it even though it's not made to advertise Spore anymore because it still captures the feel for the game greater than the game footage. There's another version of this on Ghost Robot but the music sounds different.
