It keeps a can cold(er) for about 2 hours.

After that, just switch it out with one from your regular fridge if you haven't drank it, already.

It's whisper quiet, too.

When I got my I was pissed because I thought it was broken until I saw that the fan was actually working on the bottom.

I only wish these came with an on/off switch located on the frame.

Cool thanks mate, think I am just going to buy a real mini fridge to keep under my desk, but Thanks for answering my question, if you want a switch those fridge things look very simple just find the power wires and cut a little square out on the back and buy a little switch from your local electronic store make sure the hole is big enough for the switch and file it smooth then glue the switch in. Then you will have a perfect USB mini fridge lol. :P

i would have gotten this one, but i got the coolit one (the one with just a plate) because i drink a lot of monster, amp, red bull, etc. and the can is too tall and large to fit into this one. im not saying that this one is bad, though.
